Stopped working
Wow, I've owned this for a few days less than two months and my E key stopped working out of nowhere. No idea why. Then to make things worse, I tried to pop the key out to see if I can clean under it, only to find out the keys aren't really removable and now I broke the E key -- some plastic stuff brokeI'm pretty disappointed, the keyboard feels great but this is a massive let down considering the price

If you're looking for a low-profile, illuminated keyboard, this is a great value.
I am very surprised at the lack of choice when it comes to low-profile illuminated keyboards, but Matias really fills the gap with this affordable solution. This is a great, low-profile, illuminated keyboard that works well with my Mac/Linux dual-boot machine. I have typed on laptop keyboards all my life and all I could find, as far as backlit keyboards, were the chunky gamer keyboards where my fingers were constantly tripping over keys. This keyboard is excellent to type on and has good travel on the keypress. All the media keys work well on Debian Linux/GNOME. Changing the light color with the dial is a lot nicer than pressing some weird combination of keys that you'll probably forget in the future. Changing the brightness is easy, too (fn+, fn-). No extra drivers were needed for Linux. The only downside I think to this keyboard is that when the caps lock key is enabled, the light is a little difficult to see at a certain angle. Also, the keys along the left side of the keyboard are just slightly dimmer than the rest, but it's not a deal breaker.

Keys not working right after 3 months
This is a great keyboard. ||I love the feel of it, the low profile, the keys feel good to type with and for the most part it is very responsive. After 3 months of light use the shift key that is accessed by the left hand is having an issue. If I don't apply just the right amount of pressure it will start adding a character to my typing. (Example|: |||||||||||||.) All of the |||||||||||||| characters in the writing of this review were created when I was using the left hand shift key to type a capital letter or access an alternate character or were generated on purpose by holding down the left hand shift key. I have loved everything about this key board until now... when the left hand shift key started acting up. For the price to have an issue develop this soon gives me great pause... what else will go wrong in the future. The last keyboard I had that came with a computer I bought is still functioning after 10 years and it was only $25. This one is almost 4 times that much and is having problems after 3 months. Come on, you would think that the quality, workmanship and dependability of a product as commonly used as a keyboard would be second nature by now. To get a keyboard that would develop a problem after only 3 months of light says a lot to me. I will be returning this keyboard as soon as I can get another brand of keyboard to replace it. The old one I mentioned above has been given to my daughter and is not accessible to me any longer.

Not a good keyboard for $95
The keyboard just stopped working within a few days of owning it. The "T" key stopped working and then the LED lights went out, and then I lost the keyboard completely, all in one hour. Tried it on my other PCs but they could not detect the keyboard. When you pay $95 for a keyboard, you don't expect a failure within just a few days of using it. I'm lucky this failed in a few days of ordering. Buyer beware. Apple keyboards will last you longer than this one. Luckily, Amazon was super cool about giving me a refund since it was within the 30 day window. I feel bad for anyone who's keyboard has gone dead after the 30 day window. I thought about just getting a replacement keyboard but the failure rate of this keyboard is super high. Its safer to order to something else until the QC on this product is re-done for a version 2.

Great while it lasted
Keyboard worked great until the 'e' key stopped working 18 months in from purchase. I would not bat an eye at a sub $20 keyboard failing after a year but I would expect a $100 "quality" keyboard to last me longer than that. I had been searching ans searching for a backlit chiclet keyboard for a long time and this seemed to check all my check boxes except for value for money.Buyer beware that they only provide a 12 month warranty for something that should last much longer at this price point. My $10 Dell keyboard has been banging away for 10 years without issue.Summary: Extremely disappointed in the long-term durability (1 star) but loved it while it lasted (4 star). 2.5 star average, -0.5 for a disappointing support experience totaling 2 star review.

Windows and Alt keys are backwards on PC version
Feels good. Aluminum feels solid. I wish the cable was separate from the actual keyboard unit and replaceable, but it's attached. Keyboard layout is pretty standard except for the function button, which isn't that big of a deal. However, this is a Mac keyboard. Yes, I ordered the PC version. The Alt key does what the Windows key is supposed to do and vice versa because they just rebranded the Mac version of it without actually switching them. You can use tools to remap them, but that's some of the laziest quality control I've ever seen. The manual that comes with it is also tailored to the Mac. I think they literally just took the Mac version and printed windows keys instead of command keys.Edit: The function keys just don't work. The manual only deals with the Mac options (even though I bought the PC version), so I think I'll just be returning this keyboard.

Mac style keyboard for PC
Being a long time Mac user, I found the mechanical style keyboards that come with PCs hard to adjust to. I wanted a PC keyboard that was like my Mac one and I found it in the Matias. It is a wired unit, which is what I wanted, and also has backlighting, something Apple never got around to adding on theirs. Matias mainly do Mac keyboards and do a wired, backlit board for them too, which is handy since Apple have decided recently that wireless keyboards are all they're going to provide. I'll be buying a Mac one too when my well worn unit finally needs replacement.

Nice to look at
unfortunately for a great looking product and unsure if I received a faulty one, but the keys were overly sensitive.just resting the fingers on the keys was enough to type the letter etc, aka ghost typing!

Good quality build
Good quality build to match with Apple keyboard. But the cable feeling a bit cheap that let the wow factor down when you buy 3rd party product. And hope will get better one
