What can I say, I have full body goose bumps, what a story and surprise!!!! I love the characters, and our old friends visiting, just makes it more special, T.S. Joyce writes stories with heart, humour and truths, I gained it in less than four hours, what a page turner, and one hell of a read, the issues in this I’ve lived through, the green bruise stage is vile, so seeing comeuppance given, makes me happy

Once again T.S.Joyce has wrote another brilliant bookYou get hooked into the story straight away ..Can't wait for the next book in this series ...You feel part of the book as though your included in the storyT.S.Joyce is a brilliant amazing talented author she's a must readThank you for another amazing book

I couldn’t put this story down until I read the entire book! I so loved Gunners story 2 broken souls out there and found each other, it was so riveting as all T.S.Joyce books are & these series of Damion’ Mountain I’m looking forward too the next books! Yay!

Although this is the first book in this series, it is clear that it is part of an established world with other series preceding it. I’ve not read any of this author’s “Warlander” books but didn’t feel as if I needed to, to get up to speed with this book. Both human Hallie and bear shifter Gunner are interesting characters dealing with their scars in their own way. A chance encounter leaves Gunner feeling protective and Hallie wanting to flee when her stalker violent ex finds out where she is. Hallie and Gunner are certainly not planning a future together, but their broken pieces fit and let’s be honest, a human ex, no matter his connections or belief he can treat Hallie so badly, stands a chance against Gunner and his old crew. A great story with characters I enjoyed. I’ll certainly not only pursue this series further, but also check out TSJs other shape shifter romances.

This book is filled with beautiful broken characters, finding a new way forward together. Another incredible start to a series by TS Joyce! Gunner has had an entire series of broken behaviour and I truly wasn't sure how his happy ending was going to look, Hallie is such an honest character, her backstory is so believable and so sad. I loved their banter and how throughout while they try to move forward it's slow, and a bit damaged, their happy ending was hard fought. And even though there was a little bit of a miscommunication and a break up, it wasn't overplayed or drawn out because it truly felt how the characters would react and it worked really well with the story. Honestly just loved it and I can't wait for more!!

Loved how they were both sassy and had bad previous experience but were able to connect , the love shone from the pages

You know when you pick you a T S Joyce book you are going to want to read this is one go. Wow 🤩 only took me the day, don’t tell them at work. Love 💗 love 💕 love you new books. Read them and enjoy 😊

This is another great story! The characters are all so vivid, with such well thought out backstories that you feel like you just stepped into their lives. They make you want to laugh, cry, and celebrate with them.

Every new book TS Joyce writes is always mynew favorite. The storyline is always engaging, the characters have so much depth and the emotional Rollercoaster is always worth it. Hilarious, heart wrenching and everything in between. You can never go wrong with TS Joyce books. Just buy it already!

This book was very emotional for me personally. The characters were so RAW and honest, and it was beautiful to feel that with them. The author is absolutely brilliant and made it so easy to connect with the characters. I felt like I was in the mfc and mmc's heads, and it was so emotionally charged. I can't possibly describe all I felt reading this, but the immediate connection (NOT instalove) is what made this story so beautiful to me. How two broken people can heal each other through blind trust in each other, I truly can't express how hard this hit me! It was a beautiful love story, with everything one should have(including steam). I will definitely be on the lookout for more books in this series.. by this author in general! I RARELY leave reviews, but to me, this was a masterpiece! Thank you, Miss Joyce❤️👏

Stayed up late to finish Gunner's book. I definitely would definitely recommend this story. I can't wait for the next in the series. The Damon Mountain series are some of my favorites. Gunner and Hallie's story doesn't disappoint. 📚💗

What an amazing, gut wrenching, can't put done love story. I am flabbergasted at the story telling ability of this author. I can't put the book down till I finish the story. The story never fails to go through all my emotions and leaves me anxiously waiting for the next. Thank you for one of my greatest pleasures. X
