Like many, I read a ton of reviews and this company always found itself near or at the top of the list. I went with Vari because they offered a 60x24 desk option and everyone said it was easy to setup (absolutley true). Added bonus for supporting a Taiwanese company!First thing you notice is how heavy and dense the table top is. The laminate coating is superb and the overall desk screams quality.Now I made some modifications to the desk since I have particular needs regarding cable management and I was putting it in my office closet. Which led me to notch the corners to get it to fit just right (I know right?! cutting an 800 dollar desk! Made me sweat a bit). Measure twice, cut once! Used a hacksaw with a good blade and took my time. I gave myself a half inch extra room from the wall for the notch but could have gone to a quarter inch because this desk is sooooo sturdy. Not a bit of wobble, so I know it isn't hitting the wall ever.I also added cheap cable trays underneath and screwed them into the wood. I went this route because the proprietary option was too small for my needs. My route worked great, just make sure you use the right screws. Then I used some gorilla tape to secure a power supply to the bottom. The result is a nice tidy desk and I freaking love it.This desk is definitely worth the price tag

The desk came in two heavy boxes, one of them had been crushed in about 2 inches. I opened the box up and the desktop was so well protected that it wasn't affected at all! I did have a bit of trouble getting it upstairs by myself because of the weight, but I got it there eventually!The desk was very easy easy to put together. I believe it was a total of 8 screws. It had the needed allen wrenches included. I think it took me 5 - 7 minutes to put together and upright.I love that the height display shows you the height it is at! I still need to do my presets though.The legs are very sturdy.The desktop box had 2 headphone clips so that you can hang them from your desk, a couple of velcro cable ties and a silicone drink coaster, so you don't leave rings on your desk!I highly recommend this desk to anyone that is looking for a standing/sitting desk!

The whole experience has been great. The desk was delivered about a week earlier than promised. I've never seen packaging as good as what this came in. Assembly was incredibly easy and the desk is absolutely rock solid. Must be American made. More expensive than other alternatives but industrial grade and worth every penny. I am vari satisfied.

When I first received the desk we went to put it together and one of the legs was not fitting in to the slot. We finally realized it was because the main bar attached under the desktop was bent. I was pretty frustrated and wasn't sure how I was going to return the desktop because it was large and so heavy. So I contacted Amazon to let them know what happened and they contacted Vari for me to let them know to reach out to me. I was expecting to not hear from them for at least 2 business days, but to my surprise, they contacted me right away and even on a Saturday night. The representative from Vari asked if I could explain what the issue was and to send photos showing the damaged desktop. So I did and they again responded pretty quickly saying they would replace the desktop and they would also have FedEx pickup the damaged desktop. I was so relieved I didn't have to haul that big heavy box to the UPS store to return it. So I just finished setting up the new desk. It is super nice. I'm very happy with it. I set 2 of the settings, one for standing position and one for sitting position. The desk is quite sturdy and the raising and lowering is smooth. I got the desktop with the reclaimed wood, it has a nice rustic look to it.

I owned a different brand standing desk for a few years and decided to purchase a new one because of the aesthetic design of the wood pattern and dark gray legs. After I received the new desk, it is so much better that I simply cannot go back to the old one.The set up was as quick as 20 minutes vs. around one hour for the old one because of much fewer steps. In addition, the height adjustment is extremely smooth because there is a slight deceleration at the end of the adjustment.Finally, the Vari customer support is fantastic. Their response is fast and service is well exceeded my expectation.
