Good Knife, Poor Stitching
Everything about this knife is exceptional. It came with no damage whatsoever and in perfect condition, exactly what I was looking for. However, the nylon sheath for this knife is below par. The material of the sheath is thick and flexible, but the stitching on it was poorly done as shown by my attached picture. Note the two arrows pointing at the stitching on the back of the sheath on each side of the strap. There was at least a 3/8 inch unraveling of the stitches on the 1 inch strip. I removed the strap at the center (between the two bad stitching's) down to the loop at the point of the sheath where it is better used as a leg strap, and I also removed the two strings as I deemed them useless for me. Other than the poor quality control of the stitching on the sheath for the straps, the overall system is still good and worth it for the price.

Great Knife
This thing is amazing. The Knife comes in very sharp to the point that you can shave (I tried). However the leg strap is not thunder thigh friendly so the clip does not work for me. Luckily the sheath comes with extra rope/cord with a locking nub which is similar to the clip. Also there is a hole for your belt on the top. Plus a small pocket for a lighter or small knife.Pros:Knife is Very SharpSheath is niceWhole Knife Length: Exactly 11 inches (look at Picture)Blade Length: Exactly 6 inches legally a Bowie Knife (look at Picture)Weight: 375.6 grams/ 0.828 Pounds440C Stainless Steel (Great for price)Mid:Knife is on the heavy side can be a pro or con for some people.Sheath can also be a pro or con (Standard Sheath)Saw on top is not a real saw just for looksCon:Paint can come off if scratched by rocks (Heavy Users)Leg Strap not not long enough for my thunder thighs

Awsome knife, amazing feel in hand fits perfectly in the stab, cut or slice positions. This knife has a great weight, and weight distribution. Has a great finger Guard, Varry durable easy to sharpen and clean I have had this knife for a year and haven't put any oil on it and the knife don't have any rust on it. The sheath is bulky but works nice and has a plastic piece inside the sheath so the knife don't cut through, extra pocket for a flashlight little knife or little first aid kit, got clamps to tighten around thigh, good stitching overall an amazing knife and at a beautiful price.

Great knife after some personal tweaking
It comes sharp. It comes with made in China and the brand name blazed across it. The black finish does not come off with stripper or epoxy remover. The grips have sharp edges and corners every where there is one to be had. I took the grips off and radiused every where, softened all the edges and then sanded entire grip to match finish wise. Took a die grinder with a brown scotch-brite disc and removed the black finish and the logos. This reveals some serious grind marks covered up by the finish. Used Clove lapping compound and some 80 grit sandpaper to give it a swirl jitterbug type finish. Put the grips back on and it looks just awesome. Handle is now smoother and will not poke you. Took about 2.5 hours total but well worth it. The sheath is okay for something to put it in but it sucks. that's fine though as I will make my own and this keeps the price down. I Just ordered two more for my sons. They will have a blast customizing these.

Tactical blade designed for piercing, but also pretty great at a variety of camping tasks
I purchased this "tracker"-inspired knife for camping, because I hoped it could chop, split, notch, pierce and carve wood. After field testing, my MX-8054 is now my go-to camping knife. However, it is without a doubt a tactical blade designed for piercing. So, don't whine because it won't hack saplings as well as a machete, because it's a tactical blade designed for piercing.Pros:Unique design accommodates a variety of camping tasks, i.e., the part just above the hilt is great for carving, the front is good for chopping and the saw-like back is great for notching wood.Sheath is simple and very non-threatening.Fantastic finger guard will prevent your hand from slipping down the blade.Three lashing points to easily and securely attach knife to a stick (to make a spear).Cons:The sewn-on leg strap has a maximum diameter of 20" (about 50 mm). Perhaps it's meant to be a shoulder strap instead?I really like the non-intimidating sheath because the knife itself is pretty fierce. It is good at performing a variety of tasks, but because it's not specifically designed for all those tasks extra care should be taken. This is a tactical, piercing blade first and foremost.

Awesome...
Absolutely ridiculously robust blade and design. Classic tracker style with video game combat coolness. The sheath is not good enough for this blade. It needs a nice leather or kydex sheaths for sure.I have a lot of knives of varying quality and price, and this is easily one of my faves. Workablr, serviceable steel, well designed for so many applications, but HUGE. I won't use it much, but I love it.Also, the forward holes in the hand guard are for variable lanyard applications and securing this beast as a spear point. The grip is pretty much perfect for average to large hands.Unless you abuse your knives so you can break them and complain, you won't be disappointed if you dig the appearance of this design. Don't do stupid stuff with your blades. Lol. This one is a winner.
