The book covers the period from WW2 when they were founded up to the Gulf War.By reading this book you can see what it takes to become a member of this elite regiment.A recommended read for anyone interested in the military/ special forces.

A soldier's book about soldiers
This is a book about some of the bravest and most proficient soldiers of all time, written by a soldier who knew many of them. He can write and the stories are gripping. Highly recommended.

A brillianly written book on SAS soldiers ranging from Officers to privates, World war 2 to the 1st Gulf War, David Stirling to the Bravo two zero patrol. I completly recomend this book to anyone interested in the Military.
