This is totally worth the money!!! I waited a year to write this review.If you are like me and dont like to use the inside put bag and get a steamy hot handful you should buy this. It is worth every cent. I used to dread when my dog did his business on a walk and tried to discourage it and make him wait till we got back. Now its not so bad. I mean it's not the best to have thing to do it but this makes it easy peasy and not so bad. Seems durable as I have had no problem with it. Not heavy to hold or clip on. I would recommend this to all doggy parents.

This has been a great addition to my dog walks. It's small yet it lets me pick up the poop without bendng over so far. I'm normally picking up poop from asphalt and it does a thorough job. The bags are easy to install and remove. The only downside is you don't get to feel that warm and squishy poop through thebag !!!!

Takes practice but can use without touching dog poo once you get the hang of it. Lightweight plastic. Awkward to carry because the the bulkiness.

This works as expected and picks up all the poop. Adding the bag to it is very easy to do and I never get any poop on my hand. Picking up the poop and then taking it off to place in the trash 🚮 works as expected. Only thing I wish is that it had a long handle so I wouldn’t have to bend over with my bad back, but that’s nothing against this item. Definitely perfect for what it’s meant to be used for.

This works fine for picking up solid dog poop. If you try picking up soft poop, you’re gonna have a bad time and probably end up with poop on your hands when you go to tie it.The carabiner it comes with broke after a couple months so I replaced it with another cheap one that has lasted for a while now with no issues. The one it comes with must be made out of the stuff you use this device to pick up.After about five or six months I noticed that the hinge for the bag storage had weakened and opens up with too much vibration. I’ve lost a couple rolls of poop bags without realizing it due to this. You also can’t see the roll inside without opening it up, so if your dog takes multiple poops, you might run out of poop bags prematurely.It’s also fairly inconvenient to carry around. Attached to the leash it swings around a lot but is the best way I’ve found to carry it. Attaching it to your belt loop is just annoying. It’s a rather cumbersome device to carry around while walking the dog.All that said, unless you’re really afraid of poop, you’d probably be better off getting one of those fire hydrant poop bag dispensers and doing it the old fashioned way. Or if you have multiple dogs, the expanding compartment can fit a few full bags of poop in it which is nice.

Great size and design…love it! The only negative comment I have is minor, but still should have been a little better and that is the retention clip for the door isn’t very strong and when you pull the bag through the door opens unless you put your finger on it.Addendum: While I initially thought that the weak catch for the retainer wasn’t that important, I find myself constantly thinking about that when I’m using this tool for picking up after my large dog. I have a tool similar to this one, for picking up after small dogs, but its retainer stays latched until you physically release it…it’s made by a different company. I would also comment on the pop out bottom that is the same for both, and my recommendation would be to use a stronger rubber for that because it is way too weak…workable, but it collapses way too weak.ADDENDUM: After using the product with a weak catch retainer, I decided to try my own fix by using my heat gun on low heat on the catch to move it forward a little…it moved as desired and after a minute of cooling IT WORKED GREAT!!!I would recommend passing this on, so that items don’t have to be returned, because the product is really good and provides great service for your dogs!

I'm a pet sitter and walk lots of dogs often. I've purchased two of these - not because one broke but because I can leave one in the car and one in the home of the job. It's simple to use and fantastic for keeping the full poop bag inside, especially on longer walks, hot days and when a trash receptacle is hard to find. It works well for little and larger dogs. Very useful!
