Excellent value
Used for sanding paint and varnish from vintage wood items, so a mix of finishes and timers and shapes. The coarse work is good, although it gets through sheets quite quickly, as expected. The medium and fine finish is better than I expected and produced a surface ready for waxing. The unit is light enough to use without getting fatigued, and although there is some vibration it doesn't become uncomfortable. Having a power cord also keeps the weight down, and is long enough to use in my workspace. The supplied sanding sheets are enough to get going and are easily replaced at the local DIY store. The sheet clamp can be fiddly but I soon got the hang of it, and it is robust enough to hold the sheets even for awkward shapes. The motor is easily powerful enough for my jobs. The dust extraction makes a huge difference - I used to use a drill mounted disk which created clouds of dust. Still need to use a mask, but lot less mess to clean up.I was unsure about going for a cheaper model from a less known brand, but it is a great machine and I thoroughly recommend it.

Good Value.
Good for the low price. Runs smoothly and so far the spring clamps havenβt snapped off. Standard rolls of oxide paper cut to length fit easily. P60 grit is the best for sanding work prior to painting. The lead is long enough for general use. The dust catcher, as with all the other makes of sanders I've previously bought went straight into the recycling bin.

Great value for money, easy to use
Ordered to help me with a little sanding of skirting boards and doors, brilliant tool! Made the job so much easier and quicker.Due to the holes in the sanding sheet, if the holes are not all in contact with a surface then some dust does escape, so would still suggest a face mask be worn (we're getting used to wearing these now anyway π). It also creates dust in the air, so good ventilation required.Easy to replace sanding squares, just buy the correct size and they work just fine.Great value for money

Not brilliant, dust collection is near to useless.
The sander is nice and light, good grip. Not sure of the sanding quality as I am not an expect in this field. The sanding sheets you get with the machine are really thing, might as well put them in the bin, they dont last very long or have an sort of impact on what you are sanding. The main problem with this is, it doesnt really collect the dust very well, and the dust collection bucket vibrates off after a while, the first week it stayed put, now all doesnt stay on for more than a few seconds before it falls off. You have to hold the sander with one hand and the dust collection bucket with the other. So It really isnt upto the job seeing as the main reason was for dust collection. Stay away, there are better on the market no doubt.

Easy to use
I am particularly impressed by the well designed dust collection system that captures more dust than even the most expensive models. It works very well and is easy to load with sandpaper , time will tell s to its ruggedness but so far well worth the money

Good value for money for a low use DIY sander.
Completely sanded down the entire inside and outside of a new shed and summer house with this. Produced a lovely finish.

persevere fitting sandpaper
This product would probably be OK if the sandpaper supplied with it fitted the sander. I wanted to do a very simple job, quickly, now I have to buy sandpaper which means I cannot complete the job on time! Not pleased!Update : managed to fix sandpaper to sander - You have to figure it out by looking at the drawings : the longer levers labelled 8 on either side of the sander, raise the smaller levers situated end to end, labelled 5. The sander is now operation and I'm happy with results. Phew!!
