NOPE. Stickiness LOST, falling apart
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Worst investment. I take very diligent care, as this mat was a lot money to me... all stickiness is GONE, plus the top layer of the mat has **totally separated from the backing*** at the top AND bottom, where my feet typically are during sun Bs and standing series. I feel totally misled as I’ve had it for one year now. I clean according to liforme instructions. No perfume or lotions worn to class. False advertising :(

SUPER DISAPOINTED!!!!
Well, I was obsessed with this mat when I first got it and gave it 5 stars... However after just 3 months with medium sweating in regular yoga (not hot yoga!! I use a different mat for that) I noticed it was loosing it's grip... Now it's just a ordinary medium ok mat, I slip and slide on it just like I do on a cheaper mat. I noticed this also happed to the mat I bought from Lulu Lemon which is less than half the price.Seems they use the same materrial and the coating wears out too soon if you have a regular practice like I do. I contacted customer service but they never responded! Super disappointed!!! Why spend $140 on something that only last 3 months at best...

I just got my Liforme and was super excited to give it a try at hot yoga ...
I just got my Liforme and was super excited to give it a try at hot yoga this evening. I got this mat based on the reviews of its stickiness even in hot sweaty yoga. My experience- my first experience I should say - is that it was not as sticky as I hoped. I did feel that during wheel pose and downward dog there were moments when I felt that my grip was precarious and that I was going to slip. I'm not sure if this mat has to be "broken in" to get traction on sweat but if anyone has any pointers or insights I would love to hear them. I've been practicing for about 5 years doing Bikram, power vinyasa and ashtanga. My experience has been on Jade and Lululemon mats. Other than feeling unsafe when it was sweaty wet the mat is beautiful, seems really well made and it feels amazing when it's dry.UPDATE 6/7/17: the mat is definitely not good for me in hot sweaty yoga classes- very slippery. But, it's awesome for my home practice.

Dont buy into the hype
Save your money and get any other mat like Lululemon or Jade. Loved this mat for like a month until it started to wear fast. Slide on this mat all the time when it’s both wet or dry. Fragments of the bottom part of the mat have ripped off. Grid is cool but not worth the quality of the mat. Every time someone asks me if i like my mat i simply respond with a “dont waste your money on the hype” I use this about 2-4 times a week in a hot studio environment. I clean and let air dry after ever use. One pro besides thr grid is that it never smelt bad.

Fits my needs
I do some kind of strength training, Pilates, cardio, and/or yoga at home everyday, and my old yoga mat was falling apart. So I was in the market for a new one and did a lot of research beforehand to get exactly what I needed: something durable with a lot of grip that could handle all my different workouts.Pros:-Great grip both on bottom (so it doesn’t slip around on my carpet) and on top (so I don’t slip around)-The lines help me focus on my form, especially in yoga where body positioning is important-The material feels very durable-Comes with a carrying bag should I need to move it-Great lengthCons:-Not well-padded for certain positions. If you have bad knees or hips and need extra padding, you may want to opt for a more traditional foam mat. Or you could always use a towel or blanket or something to give yourself extra padding.-Loud: The material will definitely squeak if you move around on the mat a lot. Also, when doing exercises on your back, if your back arches and flattens, it will make a farting noise, to be frank. This is no problem for me since I work out alone at home, but if you plan to bring it somewhere, you may want to keep that in mind!-Heavy: I actually think this is a pro because it helps it from slipping around, but I don’t need it to be portable since I work out at home.-Shows hair: I’m not sure if this is just because I got the grey mat or if it would happen with all the others (which it might since the material seems to be perfect for attracting hair), but I have a white dog whose hair is all over my house, and this mat shows it like crazy. That being said, it brushes off very easily and isn’t a big deal. Conclusion: I am very happy with this mat so far, despite a couple small downsides. That being said, I have only used it a few times so far, so I cannot speak to the longevity of the mat. It feels very durable, but I will update my review should anything change in the future.

I love this mat
I love this mat! It's grippy, thick, supportive, and the lines really do help. I paid the hefty price for this mat because I take heated yoga classes in which I sweat a lot and didn't want to have to deal with a yoga towel and a mat. Had I purchased multiple yoga towels and a nice mat, I would've paid more.If I'm in a really intense and very heated class, sweating profusely, I typically have to ignore the lines at some point and move myself a little down the mat so that my hands can have a better grip when in down-dog. Sometimes, I just lay a hand towel over the area where my hands go and this solves that problem of sliding around in the puddle of sweat that I've created.Tip: if you don't want lint or hair to get stuck to the top of mat, instead of the regular roll up method, fold the mat in half lengthwise, then roll it, so that no part of the bottom of the mat touches the top of the mat.

Great mat; Price is the only negative
Took me a couple months of debating to finally order this one (strictly because of the price). It's a great mat, comparative to lulu in terms of wet grip, slightly thinner so it's easier to roll. Drys quick, absorbs sweat fast. Guides are easy to locate even when mat is sweaty (see picture) to square yourself up while flowing. Expensive, so unless the guidelines are important to you, the same grip and feel can be accomplished with a lulu. That said, I have both and take this one most days.

Yoga't a minute to read my review?
As a 27 year old man I was always dismissive of yoga, viewing it as an excuse for women to wear activewear in any and all everyday scenarios without the need to change. This all changed after injuries forced me to access my body which led me to conclude I had the flexibility of a half-jointed scarecrow and was advised to give yoga a crack. Luckily I was eased into my first session through a lunch time class my work holds on a Thursday where the skill range wasn't that high so they were patient in fixing any issues in form and I bloody loved it.It both challenged and relaxed me in a variety of ways and I discovered my stereotypical masculine view of 'strength' was no good here rendering me as helpless as a new born giraffe trying to find its feet for the first time. As the days passed and collected more classes under my belt my flexibility has improved, strength increased, and ability to do poses that I initially wouldn't have wished on my worst enemy are finally within my grasp... but...In mildly warm rooms or a moderately fast flow class I release enough sweat to become a human humidifier. I'm talking gallons of the stuff, from fingertip to tip toe, blinding me, dripping from my nose, painting a mural of myself on the mat so future generations will know I was there - a modern day monument for all my sins and stretch sinews. Now, having decided to invest in my first yoga mat so I could practice at home in my spare time, and having experienced many a time my hands slide forward at the pace of a tectonic plate during downward dog, I knew I had to invest in a mat that would limit this or risk an inevitable face-to-floor collision. Ladies and Gentlemen - let me introduce you to the mat my girlfriend introduced me to that I'm now taking to credit for:Liforme. It's been excellent so far - nice design, good grip, reasonably padded etc. The fact it comes with a bag is undeniably helpful because it is (surprisingly) heavy. I'm a stickler for detail and getting my alignment juuuuust right so having the markings really help save me time when my anal tendencies do take over.Chuck into the mix that it's eco friendly and I basically threw my money at them.I know it is expensive but I'm an all or nothing kinda guy and understand the value of buying something that'll last both in terms of it's performance and keeping it's 'colour' after drying out. Plus having used a foam type mat at work for a year I can see how quickly the grip has warn AND padding has diminished after just one use a week to an extend that when on my knees I feel like I'm back in primary school praying to the lord Jesus Chris on the wooden bench begging him to tell the priest to finish so I can make sure my knee caps haven't fallen off (and so I could blast out a rendition of shine Jesus shine sharpish!).Over all a perfect product. Nice one Liforme.P.S. You will need a yoga mat towel for Hot Yoga to avoid slipping, no man made yoga mat alone could save you in a Hot Yoga classP.S.S. If I did have a complaint it is that it is TOO grippy and it picks up dirt from my laminated floor that I hovered and mopped two hours before reminding me of my failures as a domestic goddess.I hope this helps :)

The Best Yoga Mat In The World
I found myself constantly buying new yoga mats, because they just weren't up to the job. Too stretchy, too slippy, too thick, too thin, just poor quality. Liforme mats are the best, they are made of natural rubber with no strong chemical odour, (however this does make the regular mat very heavy at 2.5kg), they do make a thinner, lighter travel mat, which is a great alternative if you need to carry your mat any distance. The mats have guide lines that make it easy to get correct asana alignment. The mat grip is fantastic and it absorbs moisture, so no sweaty slips. The regular mat is 4.2mm thick, which I find perfect for comfort and balance. If your a serious Yogi, don't be put off by the price. When I think about all the money I wasted on cheap mats, I could have bought one of these in the first place. Namaste X 🙏

Super Grippy
I have struggled with slippery yoga mats in the past when practicing Ashtanga or Dynamic Yoga despite investing in well known brands. I researched it long and hard due to the price point, but finally took the plunge and can confirm that this mat is super grippy. I can now concentrate on the pose rather than ensuring I don't slip and injure myself or inadvertently end up doing the splits! ( which I can't btw! ) That is why I have no qualms leaving a 5 star review. The main con for me - which may not affect other people - is how incredibly heavy I find it in comparison to my old mat. I used to carry my old mat walking to/from work and to the gym, but the first time I did that I found it impossible for me ( walking 20+ min ) So I had to rent a large locker at the gym in the end.

Fantastic
I absolutely love this Mat. I have tried various mats over the years and never found one that is truly non slip. Classes that make you sweat make the hands and feet even more slippery and you want to feel safe and confident in class that you won’t slip in postures. With being over 5” 10” the extra length is also a bonus. It is very expensive but I am really glad I purchased this. My only gripe is the weight, if you need to carry other equipment with you your bag becomes uncomfortably heavy.
