Cheap and cheerful, basic planner
I got the sky blue planner, it's a pleasant turquoise-blue, but it's not sky blue. The planner is fairly basic, similar in design and quality to any number of planners out there. It is hard backed and has a black ribbon bookmark. The pages are reasonable quality paper but quite thin, and you do get a small amount of bleed through if you write in ink.It seems robust enough, I expect it would survive the year tossed into a bag, but it won't win any aesthetic design awards - it's functional. The diary is set out for the academic year - August through August - and at the front are various other useful sections for Personal Information, Religious Festivals and Notable Dates, Telephone Contacts, Timetables, Deadlines and Exam Dates, Term Dates, and Matters to be dealt with on a month-by-month basis. They all have more value to the student than anyone else, which is reasonable given the type of diary, but it does make the telephone contacts section a bit redundant and a wasteful legacy of a bygone era - who doesn't use their smartphone for that these days, have you ever met a student without a smartphone? At the back of the diary is a section for Notes. It also has 2 pages of adverts for products made by HBS, the parent company of Pinnora, one at the front, one at the back, which is a bit much.At £3.99 it's probably a bit expensive for the quality - these are the sorts of journals given away free as promotional items, and it's probably worth closer to £2 than £4.

It has all the correct dates.
I liked it because it was less expensive than the others.

Nice layout, thin paper
The things that I like about this diary:- Nice colour for cover- A page a week, with the focus being Monday-Friday- Deadlines/exam dates, year-at-a-glance, personal details, notes pagesThe things that I don't like about this diary:- The paper is really thin (erasing pencil or frixion pens on it leads to tears, highlighter and felt pens go through the pages, so it's biro only, which doesn't suit most people these days)- Although I like the colour, it's not the one that I ordered - it was advertised as sky blue but is actually turquoiseOverall, at the current price of £3.99, it's not bad value for money. It's a useful academic diary and is lightweight. The layout is useful for students.
