Jens Hoffmann: (Curating) From A to Z

The most pleasurable thing about the book is the tone in which it is written. All subjects discussed are discussed in a personal almost diarist style that is incredibly engaging does not use jargon and yet it is intellectually highly astute. The tone moves from humorist comments to very serious observations with a wonderful flow. Apart from all the info about mayor curatorial topics such as Art, Biennials, Curating, etc. the tone and style of writing make it such an engaging and educational read. I read the book on a flight from Atlanta to Boston and again on my flight back and enjoyed it tremendously. I cannot wait for the sequel coming out in the spring (Curating) from Z to A.
