I think I've been using this case long enough now to safely say it's my favorite phone case that I've ever used. A case is meant to protect your phone from damage, but after years of using smartphones, I've gotten to a phone where I can't sacrifice padding the size of the phone for higher levels of protection. This is the thinnest case I've ever owned, and I don't think it will offer the greatest level of protection from drops of greater heights, but I think the case will protect from drops of several feet (though I cannot attest to this yet).Most important for me is feeling like I'm almost holding the bare phone in my hand. It hardly feels like I'm holding a protective case when it comes to thickness. I love the texture of the carbon fiber, and it is clear that this is a premium case. I love the simplicity, but still slickness of the Break the Line case, and I got a Pitaka ring grip to go with it (which mostly matches the case).This is the best overall case I've ever owned, though I hold no delusions about it protecting my phone from drops from great heights. Hopefully it will protect my phone if it falls out onto the street from getting out of my car, but the look and feel that this case delivers is worth the tradeoff for me personally.

I absolutely love this case. It lets me have the slim phone experience I would have if I didn’t have the case but then it protects my phone since it’s so tough so I get the best of both worlds! I also love the design of the Break the Line case. It has a cyberpunk vibe that I think is pretty rad.
