EltaMDFoaming Facial Cleanser Face Wash

I bought this on a lark, knowing I love the Elta MD moisturizers. I am SO glad I did! This cleanser effectively removes makeup and sunscreen without drying out my skin. It has a pleasant texture and feels soft and luxurious on the skin.My teen daughter, who has extremely sensitive, highly reactive skin, has started using it, too. She loves it! Finding a cleanser that does not cause an allergic reaction is a huge win!

It's effective and gentle. Would buy again.

I've been using Elta MD facial cleansing for 2 yrs now. I am 60 yrs young and this is the best facial wash I've found.I wash my hands first before getting my face wet. Then, only one pump is enough to cover my face. I leave it on for a few minutes before rinsing. It foams up and though it is lifting the dirt off my face. The first time I used Elta MD, I noticed a difference. My skin glowed.

Every person has that one product, but they will forever use in their face routine. This is a product for me. Lathers perfect for my face doesn’t dry me out like some products do doesn’t make me extremely oily like others. Do it makes my face feel clean without stripping off all the pH from my face. This product has been a game changer.

I like how it foams and lathers up. I wish it had a better bottle design bc sometimes the dried excess cakes up on the dispenser part and makes it hard to get more soap out without removing that dried up portion.

So fresh & so clean, clean!!! I am in love. Thank you for letting me know in the instructions that if it doesn’t get foamy, I need to do it again…..I’m not kidding, lol. I’m horrible about washing my face at night.Definitely worth the price. So soft & smooth feeling on my face. Great for my sensitive skin. Skin feels super clean but not that squeaky, your face hurts because there’s no moisture left, clean. Don’t need to use very much at all; I can tell this bottle will last me awhile.Super duper happy with purchase. Will definitely be buying again; probably subscribing once I figure out how often I’ll need it.

I have a mixed skin tone. Sometimes oily sometimes super dry. I have been using Elta Md for over 4 months now and absolutely love it. It smells good and fresh, super weightless, It’s just overall great quality. No matter what my skin tone is that day, Elta md cleans it very well and leaves a super fresh clean feel and LOOK. It definitely minimized my pores and gave my skin an even tone consistently. Worth the spending. Mine is on auto already.

2/24/24 **UPDATE** Changed from 5 to 3 stars. I’ve recently stopped using this as unfortunately there has become too much inconsistency in recent batches! The last 3 bottles have had very abrasive white granules that my skin does not enjoy. I contacted Elta directly and was advised there was no reformulation and that “on occasion, white specks and granules are normal”. After using this for 7 years without issue, I found that hard to believe. After receiving the response from customer service, I read reviews directly on the Elta website with customers complaining about the recent grittiness as well…and customer service responding saying they are aware of this issue and are investigating problems with recent batches and to contact them for a refund. A stark difference from the response I received saying the granules were “normal”. I will eventually try going back to my beloved cleanser again but will wait a bit until they figure out the recent formulation issues.I work in Dermatology and have been using this cleanser for over 7 years. I fell in love after the first use. See, I’m product crazy. I LOVE trying new things, and it’s *rare* I find something I just keep returning to! My skin is sensitive and adult acne prone, and anytime I’ve strayed from this, I’ve regretted it and ended up repurchasing!I’ve noticed people mentioning that this doesn’t “foam” and honestly I’ve found there *is* a bit of a technique to this. First off, this does not produce a traditional “sudsy” foam…rather its more of a thick, rich lather. A bit shaving cream like, which makes it feel soft and luxurious. However! If you’ve got on a full face of makeup, you’ll need to (and really should be anyways!) do a double cleanse. On wet skin, I use a half pump for my first wash, really spend time working it in, and rinse. Then another half pump, and THIS is the wash that produces that rich lather. The trick is that you’ve *got* to spend time working the product. Add a splash of water. The more you work it, even pause for a few seconds, the more you’ll start to see/feel it foaming. And that’s when it starts getting thick and rich. It removes *everything* without a trace, but also without overdrying at all. Even when my skin is ultra sensitive and/or post-procedure, this calms while cleansing and never causes irritation. The fruit based enzymes help to very gently decongest and remove dull, dry skin while refining the look of large pores and uneven tone/texture.We had patients who purchase this for their entire family’s use…from kids/teens, mom and dad, and right up to grandma as well! Just an all around GREAT cleanser that will forever remain my go-to!!

Best facial wash I ever used. I thought I bought fake product since I don't know how to generate foam. Then I learnt online, I left a thin layer on my wet face for 15 secs then miracle happens. It starts to generate bubbles itself and it absorb the dirty black head out from my face. Best facial wash I ever had. My face is so clean and not dry at all.

Tiene una textura como si fuera espuma de afeitar lo cual no se escampa bien, y no siento que me limpia en profundidad.Por el precio que tiene me esperaba más, no lo volveré a comprar
