Better range with external antennas
Another great-performing TP-Link product for my application, with a significantly better range than the 650 model. I use TP-Link as a wifi platform for my security camera systems that we sell, and they have been reliable. I used this unit because it had external antennas, which were necessary due to the challenging system I was dealing with, including metal buildings and elevation issues.

Great Omada Cloud Option/Solution
Had to figure out the Omada cloud AP options, found out there's a license needed to use it, paid $9.99 (yearly) and got whopping speeds, it ties into my Omada wired network seamlessly. -I had Decos in our Air B&B, unfortunately in a Florida attic, i'ts reeeeally hot (they started to overheat), so I had to use this outdoor antenna to replace those Decos. -This upped my speeds by 40%. -The management interface is splendid w/Omada Cloud. (Deco's cannot tie into the Omada SDN Cloud, whereas this does.) Works great! Took me a bit to figure out the license issue, had to Duckduckgo for a bit, but I'm pleased to say all's well now! Bravo

Great range and throughput.
Replaced an outdoor access point with this one. Range and speed are greatly improved. Signal is present on most of the 10 acre property. It works wonderfully.

A HEAVY WELL MADE UNIT‼️😃
My initial test was extremely impressive . My paid download speed is 500Mbs. Actual measured download speed via Ethernet is 519Mbs. With this outdoor access point it’s around 425Mbs. When permanently mounted higher, I’m expecting an even better number. Extremely well made and much heavier than I expected. If you don’t already have a POE power inserter, remember, this Access Point does NOT come with one‼️ For proper operation, purchase the Tapo POE which is rated to handle the current draw of the Access Point. If using a “POE switch” a Tapo POE inserter will not be needed. At this time, I have not checked coverage area.

Works better than advertised
Even though I had to hire a computer tech to install and fix other problems with my computer, this device works beyond expectations, and we can now receive a strong Wi-Fi signal in all our buildings.

UBNT, eat your heart out
I've been running this as my primary AP in my apartment for a few months. Zero complaints. Omada has a really good market position right now; better software than Ubiquiti for sure. If you're a networking nerd or not, setup is a breeze, guided and easy. Enterprise guys will definitely appreciate the advanced futures, but even home gamers can get this rocking and rolling within 15 mins. Coverage with the stock antennas is a bit lack luster. I replaced the stock antennas with sector antennas to get a better spread in a densely populated wireless environment, but even that's standardized and easy.
