Not very effective , it does make a good night light though! Bugs and flies have to land on the back side and get stuck to the sticky side i have 3 plugged in and caught 1 fly

shipment contained 4 units -only 3 worked- 1 is not functioning. I was tempted to return the entire order, but as I am an elderly peron it's just easier to keep the 3 which work great.

The trap emit a bright blue light. I have different units that use UV and blue light and attract bugs. This unit has attracted very few bugs, unlike my other unit. The light is also very bright and will light the room up.

Since purchasing, I've found several ads for cheaper, similar items with decent reviews. That being said, these worked flawlessly capturing both tiny gnats and large house flies. Easy to install, no sticky mess if it accidentally taps your counter tops. The light does show quite bright in the darkness, but you can turn off the blue light with the touch of a button. 4 stars. Effective, but costs about 1.5x as much as some competitors. No sound at all!

The blue light is the wrong color to really attract bugs. I have several brands of these at home and bought these because they were cheap. They are by far the worst performers. Maybe catch 1 gnat for ever 15-20 the other light traps catch. But something else unless you are looking for a night light!

I've had these up for several weeks. They are very bright. I put them in several places abd have caught only one or two per device. They attract the moths and mosquito but do not catch them. Bugs gather around the light though.

They work getting rid of fruit flys & gnats. Sometimes flys & mosquitos. Easy & clean .
