USA Seller: Proline picker GOLD BLACK SAND SEPARATOR Magnetic PICK-UP with Quick release

I highly doubt this could actually pick up 16 pounds but I have yet to test it with that much weight. It seems a little flimsy but for under $7.00 it was a good buy. There's really not much better out there at least not on Amazon. I'm sure there's a company somewhere out there that makes these that are a lot higher quality.I would recommend it based on the price and it does pick up and release metal objects easily. The bottom is not waterproof so I definitely would put a little sealant around the base so it can be submerged in a little water. I purchased this to use panning for gold in order to collect black sand. So that's why I was hoping for the bottom to be sealed.

This magnet is easy to use but it is a little bit large for what I need. I do like the way you raise the handle to release the magnetic material.

Hey, it's a pair of lightweight magnets in a housing. They grab magnetic stuff, you pull the handle to release the stuff.No, it won't lift a lot of weight, but that's not what it's for. It works well on nails, nuts, bolts, Canadian coins, etc., which is the kind of lightweight stuff I "fish" for. If that's what you want to do, this is the tool you want.

If you watch all the videos online on wet tumbling everyone will have one of these. Well I can say for sure I see why it is a MUST have for wet tumbling brass.
