Whilst application is easy, once the product dries the grey shines through again. Also, despite claims to the contrary, it does rub and flake off.I applied this the other morning, let it dry, styled my hair. Was already unhappy with the grey shining through but put on my hat, went to work and by the time I got there a lot more had vanished and the grey was very noticeable again!Buyer beware as well as you will be told this is ineligible for return, despite the fact it doesn’t work!

The only products I can compare this with have gone off the market now - Schwarzkopf Root Re-touch and Wella Toners and Shaders. Schwarzkopf was an excellent product although expensive at the time and the Wella product was good (and cheap) but added colour and shine to all the hair not just the roots. I haven't tried any of the other root touch up products for sale on Amazon.Touchback isn't as good as the above products - but costs more! Like everyone else I want a product that is quick and easy to use and gives me a few more weeks on my salon coloured hair. Touchback gives a good coverage and is to easy apply - no mess, but it does leave a slight residue on the treated hair which feels a bit greasy to the touch. I had a reddish brown tint on my hair last time I went to the hairdresser so wasn't sure if the dark brown shade would match. However it mingles in quite well and certainly hides the grey root re-growth.I think it will work well as a stop gap between appointments but as yet don't know how long it will last and will probably try some of the other (cheaper) products for comparison when this one runs out.

I have been going grey since my early 20's and have been dying my hair ever since. I have tried most of the touch-up products on the market as I have dark hair and only three weeks after having my hair dyed at a hairdressers my roots start to show - and they look awful - you may know the feeling. I am certainly not ready to roll over and go grey yet, but I don't want to be constantly putting chemical dye onto my scalp - not to mention the cost of having it dyed every three weeks!Having used this product a couple of times now, I am impressed with it's coverage. It takes a bit of practice - especially when your roots are as grey as mine, but I think it is better than the sticks (which leave a waxy residue) or the non-permenant wash-out dye which is really messy. It does leave a slight residue, but nothing like the other products out there, and, once brushed, I think only you would know (btw - it doesn't come out when you brush it - only when you wash your hair).The previous reviewer helped me when she said that she would buy the medium brown next time (rather than the dark brown she purchased). I would consider my hair dark brown, but on her recommendation I brought the medium brown, and it did come up quite dark on my hair, so I would say only buy the dark brown if your hair is very dark.I think the creators have thought this out well and have come up with the best idea on the market at present. It is easy to use (with practice) and not too messy - though you have to be careful not to get it on your skin - but the good thing is if you do, it washes out.If like me you get that sinking feeling when you see your roots shining under a spot light in the bathroom mirror - I would recommend you try this. I think it is worth the money if it delays a visit to the hairdresser or avoids having too many permanent colours per year.

The Dark Auburn looks like a dark red on the packet and Amazon website. However it is more of an orangey-brown ( not what I need).I am really disappointed especially since it's not at all cheap and I bought 2.

This product is brilliant!! Having been plagued with touching up my roots every three weeks (black hair is very unforgiving as you get into your 40's lol) and still catching the tell tale twinkle of stubborn grey hairs pushing through after 1 week or so, I was amazed by this touch up pen. The coverage is fantastic and incredibly quick and easy. It also dries without becoming 'crispy' and I love being able to brush my hair time and time again without it brushing the colour back out. Ok it's a tad expensive but for the time and messing it will save me I think its worth the cost. Highly recommended :)

found it to be really good saved me time and hassle, i didn't need to keep dying my roots. it covered my without pigment roots (or should I say 'white' ) really well - I never found it running down my face or ruining my hair as I have seen in other reviews. It is quite expensive but it seemed to last forever. I don't use it anymore as I ve changed colour but when I was using it - it worked well for me.

This is the best! I had been using a brown sharpie before. It goes on easily and the little comb works great to protect skin from the color. It leaves a texture like hairspray that can be combed out if desired. I use it on my hair line and part. Love it!

Dit product heb ik voor mijn haar gebruikt. Ben niet heel tevreden. Het dekt de grijze haarkleur maar je ziet het op de huid zitten, zeker aan de voorkant. Ik ga toch maar weer voor poeder.

Deckt perfekt ab und färbt nicht ab.Habe schon sämtliche Ansatzsprays ausprobiert, aber alle färben ab. Wenn man wie ich sich ständig durch die Haare fährt, ist das absolut unbrauchbar.Jetzt habe ich endlich mein perfektes Produkt gefunden. Absolut top! 😊

Plus: Räcker länge, lätt att tvätta bort.Minus: Försvinner i regn och snö. Lätt att av misstag måla på hud.
