Good Lithium replacement battery concept in theory.
I was very satisfied with the replacement of lead-acid AGM and gell cells with the LiFePO4 convenience, reliability, and extended duty cycle life. They've served me well for camping power, trolling motors, recharge my phone and gear in remote locations. And they are much lighter too.So I ordered the Aoryimt YTXX-BS motorcycle replacement battery when I noticed it. I wanted to see if it can replace my Honda VFR750 gas recombinant lead acid battery. I'm tired of having to replace it annually. There is no way to top it off with distilled water when needed. The Aoryimt lithium polymer battery has the same terminal positions but is much flatter. The battery comes with a series of stick-on foam pads to build up the dimensions to fit your application. The battery has a built-in voltage display to check the status of the charge. A nice addition. It has 500CCA and a reserve of 6Ahr. It's shy of my OEM battery at 10Ah. But it should work. Plenty of amps to crank over the starter for the massive V4 and gear driven cams. What confuses me about the concept of these replacements is that the instructions warn to recharge only with a proper 14.6V LiFePO battery charger. Hmmmm. But its application is in motorcycles, ski mobiles, ATVs, etc. And they have a built-in alternator charging system. Now that seems like a contradiction. Does the BMS not allow an inflow of current during operation? Is it running at a loss all times until the vehicle dies and require the battery to be attached to a dedicated lithium polymer charger. Or I must modify the vehicle for a separate charge module in between the battery and alternator? People would love some clarity. For this I gave it 4 stars. Otherwise, the product looks great and is well made. But I must weigh the unknowns and research before I commit to using it straight in my bike and risk it burning it down while riding.

Smaller, lighter and has a built-in Voltmeter
The media could not be loaded. Ok, this is a pretty cool battery. Having a built-in Voltmeter is new to me and I really like that feature. No more wondering if the battery is good or needs a charge, just press the button and it immediately shows the voltage. The material is sturdy and similar to most batteries on the market. The weight is much lighter than a lead acid or AGM battery, but works just as good, probably better, but I won't know until some decent time has passed. The terminals are universal and can be connected on the top, the front or the side. They seem to be better quality terminals than most other batteries I've seen. This should fit all motorcycles, ATVS and jet skis. If you're looking for an upgrade for your lead acid or AGM battery, this is a good option.

Turns my 900cc bike over quick. Measure your battery compartment, don't go by old size.
My bike is 900cc and doesn't like to start unless the battery is in tip top shape. It will turn over repeatedly, but will not start unless the battery has enough oomph. My bike fired right up with this battery, maybe even a bit faster than usual.I ordered this battery based on my old one being a YTX14 and the description stating it would fit that battery size with the spacers. Well, this lithium battery is about 20mm longer than my YTX14. I was able to make it work, but recommend measuring your battery compartment before ordering. The length is listed as 5.9 inch which converts to 150mm, but I measured 155mm. So make sure you have some wiggle room on top of the given measurements. The included spacers are just pieces of dense foam with adhesive on one side. The size they are cut to is not very consistent. Some are a little wider than others and some were too wide for my battery compartment. you may end up having to trim them. I had planed to use them, but ended up being happy the way the battery fit without them.I've only started the bike a few times, but so far I am very happy with the performance of this battery. Me giving this battery four stars is based mostly on its performance in starting my motorcycle quickly. If it ever lets me down I will update this review.

Discrepancies is tested vs advertised capacity.
I'm rating 3-stars our of 5-stars based on the following;• Usable/Tested Capacity vs Advertised Capacity• Voltage testing button on top cover• Fitment and UseThe above 3-points drop my rating.Likes:• Case (other than the voltage testing button) seems to be made well with a high nylon content.• Terminals - are nice and robust and use "standard" to the style sized screws .• Terminals are marked Positive and Negative with acrylic colored dots• BMS cut-off activates at 10.8v - to reset supply 12v constant power source for a sec and this will reactivate the BMS so you can recharge with a LiFoPO4 charge.Dislikes:• Advertised capacity is 6Ah & 76Wh - usable tested capacity was 5Ah & 65Wh - Tested after 5 discharge/charge cycles• Voltage testing button on the top of the case - depending on your use application this may or may not work. In my case my BMW battery top strap comes right over the top of the button.• While the spacer foam works its not very clean looking - would have liked to have seen plastic spacers like others do for batteries in this range.• Its listed to replace a group size all the way to 20 but I wouldn't use it on size bigger than a 10Conclusion:• The cells test consistent• I would be okay using to replace say a BS-9 or 10 or smaller but not a bigger size.
