It is so easy to apply. It was a simple five minute setup. Just insert into USB and download application. It even is daisy chainable to the older versions of FCE and I assume FC models. I bought one and after I daisy chained two other lights to the app. controlled lights, they all are now app controlled. So cool. No need for other timers. I highly recommend this product because of the ease of application. No it is not needed but so worth the investment to ensure simple synchronization of multiple lights, and it's cheaper than most timers!

Works great but the new app doesn’t work.

Love using this with my Mars Hydro FC-1500 Evo light! Super simple app to set my timers and just able to quickly adjust on the fly! Keep up the amazing work Mars Hydro!!!!

Garbage doesn’t work doesn’t connect doesn’t do anything. Why would they change something that worked from old models to new now they’re garbage

Why did you pick this product vs others?:ReputationFunctionality:Careful! This thing is quirky and doesn’t always connect and will log you out and you will lose the timer setting. Caused the light to stay on past the timer settings after couple weeks or so. Don’t touch the dimmer dial on the light or unplug this. You will lose your settings. App is confusing as well%:Went 7 hours past shut off and didn’t catch it at 6 weeks in flower. Switched back to mechanical timer. Hope I’ll be ok…not the best instructions or manual either. Great light though.

If your Mara Hydro light is compatible with this Bluetooth adapter it makes it easier to control your lights from your phone. Easy to setup.

Their app kinda sucks! It is not simple like the ac infinity app.
