Preston Lee's Beginner English Lesson 1 - 20 For Arabic Speakers (Preston Lee's English For Arabic Speakers)

This book would be very confusing for an Arabic speaker
Call it poorly written. Call it a scam. You decide. Approximately 10% of the text is translated into Arabic. For the other 90% of this paltry book, there is no explanation in Arabic. An Arabic speaker would have no clue what the text is about. The authors of this apparently self-published book are clearly not trained in how to teach English as a second language. They threw this book together and then had a small portion of the text translated into numerous languages (Spanish, Korean, Vietnamese, Portuguese, etc.) in order to make a quick profit.

No Arabic explanations - no good for self-study
Very basic - just a set of vocabulary (nouns) worksheets - ok as practice exercises for a teacher to give to students but no good for self-teaching as no Arabic explanations of what to do or glossary of verbs being used etc. Would definitely not buy again.
