I use this between my scanner and my headset at NASCAR races. I was previously using a Boostaroo. This is WAY better. Seems very well built. Battery life is great, sound quality is great, recharges quickly. My son liked it so much he bought one too.

This baby really works well for use with a laptop like my Macbook. It is made with great quality in mind as far as I am concerned. You can even amplify an electric guitar into headphones or earbuds with the proper adapters. I did this and it worked better than an ampifier that I bought for that specific purpose.

This is a good addition to your audio great bass control great volume boost also a high definition low definition switch which is good if you using different types of headphones

It might clean up the noise and does make bass adjustable but it is more quiet than just coming out of my phone I can barely hear the music when turned all the way up. When this thing is connected.went back to just listening out of my phone this thing definitely does not amplifie

Loud and clear. Bass adjustment is noticeable, and volume adjustment is noticeable. Works with surround sound and 3d audio on PlayStation 5. Xbox you have to pay for Dolby surround sound while PlayStation 5 is free.

Works great. I have severe hearing loss and this makes it so that I can still blast my tunes.

When I first tested the amp, I set the bass boost dial to zero (0). I did not understand why the signal was mono (monaural) until I decided to give the bass boost a try. At two (2) on the dial, the stereo sound finally came out, but the more I increased the bass, the more there was a stereo "surround" sound effect, until it finally became like a karaoke effect (which is an effect that amplifies stereo signals and minimizes monaural signals, such as a lead singer's voice, which is usually recorded in mono, thereby making it easier to sing along to).Unfortunately, there seems to be no way to use the bass boost without the added karaoke effect. The bass boost itself is GOOD, and it really does work, but I wish they would not have meddled with it by adding the unsolicited stereo sound effect.I have only tested low impedance headphones with the amp, so I do not know how effective it is with high impedance headphones. Having said that, the amp did little to nothing to boost the signal, even with High Gain on. In fact, there really isn't much difference in volume between high and low gain. The amp itself is quiet, ineffective, and is just more of a novelty than anything else. I actually would be willing to pay more money for another amp just like it if it were to have separate bass and stereo effect ("karaoke") dials and a little more power to the amp. But leave my bass alone.Also, there is a slight white noise effect when powered on (we used to call it "tape hiss" back in the 80s and 90s), so don't expect it to be a perfectly clean signal.

real good head phone amp!i use this with my smart tvand a real good set of head phones for movie theater sound!it is hard these days to find a good amp setup for the headphones.the battery life is better than expectedi get over a week of 12 hours a day!no kidding!and it charges back up on an over night.yea you need one of these!
