Kicker 45KEY1804 4-channel 45 x 4 Key Smart Amplifier

I'm impressed with the power of this little thing.I wanted to keep using my factory radio which I love, big buttons, big knob, supper convenient, but get better speakers and get an amp for my Honda CRV 2014 LX. I spent some time researching and ended up with really good expensive Alpine speakers, an amp, but they still sound like CRAP. It took me some time to figure out that I needed DSP (Digital Sound Processor) which will level the output coming from factory radio.This little beauty is like Alpine 445 u, but this one has DSP. And OMG it sounds sooo nice. Especially after auto tune. Freaking heavens opened to my ears.It doesn't require much power, so I just T-cut into my radio's harness that gave me sound, power, remote start. Turned out to be super small and neat install.Love it.

I installed this in a 2018 Ford F-150 XLT. It fits comfortably in the dash behind the head unit, secured with zip ties. It is powering four Kicker CS-series speakers (one in each door enclosure). I also have a Kicker Hideaway 8" powered subwoofer behind the rear seat. I am using the stock head unit.I have been very impressed with this amp. I installed the Kicker door speakers a week or two before the amp, and while changing the speakers out was a big improvement, adding the amp improved the sound quality by leaps and bounds, not to mention the volume capability. I had a 2013 F-150 FX4 with the Sony system previously, and my current sound system cost about a third as much as the Sony upgrade and sounds at least twice as good.

Toyota is known for crappy sound systems. I replaced the factory speakers with Kicker, then added this amp. Follow the directions on how to set it up. After the set up was done, it was amazing. Using the compression with the time delay, wow.

Unit is defective, wiring verified by expert. Front right channel is distorted. 1 damn day too late to exchange the POS.*UPDATE*Kicker is servicing it. Will update again when I get it back. I have high hopes, as I drive in silence until it gets back!

This amp did exactly what it was suppose to do. I used it for my door speakers in my 2001 chevy silverado extended cab sound quality is a 4 out of 5. Was it worth the money (Value) eh I wish I could have paid less for it, I'd say its worth maybe $150 definitely not over $200 like I paid. It is easy to install as well.

Seller gave me more than I expected and amplifier was in perfect shape.

Connecting the amp itself was pretty simple. Had issues with my rear passenger speakers not working (my fault) which caused the auto EQ setup to fail every time. Once the speaker issue was resolved the Auto EQ worked perfectly. The staging and sound quality is night and day from stock. Added kicker DS speakers all around. Best bang for the buck.

Had professionally installed and after installation (with the DSP Feature on, which the company brags about how great the quality of the sound is, it sounds frickin' terrible! Muffled & like you are in a can! Have installers deactivate the DSP Feature & you will be 1000 times happier w/the quality of the sound. Wow! Not sure what the engineers were smokin' during the design of this one!
