American Health Probiotic Cd Products VegTab, 60 Count

One of the most complete probiotic products available and very reasonably priced. This product was recommended by a sports-nutrition friend of mine. My internist (and apparently most internists) recommend(s) "Align™".There apparently is ONE significant bacteria the Probiotic CD product does not have, but has "thousands" more positive bacterial cultures than Align™. Asking my doctor, he was fine with my taking *both*...though thinking it was largely unnecessary.I did a good deal of research on the net. You SHOULD check with your doctor about probiotics. I found the combination of the two reduced my issues with bloating, less gassy in general, and it seems my infrequent heartburn is almost non existent.Just my spin,Ron.

Product came quickly and as described. I have gastroparesis and have taken probiotics for a while. I was trying to find an effective, inexpensive product that works. I bought 2 bottles and began taking the suggested dosage. Then my doctor told me he wanted me take another brand so I returned the unopened bottle. I'm really sorry that I returned it because I've continued taking what I had already opened (didn't want to just throw it out!) and it seems to be working fine for me. On my next dr's visit I'll suggest this brand to my dr because it is working really well for me. I would recommend this product to anyone who is having digestive problems with an approval from your doctor.

Works well and you only need one daily . The only problem is if you take it late at night .. You may awake earlier than planned to visit the bathroom - but my tummy feels so much better since taking these and the price is amazing !

I can't say for sure, because I started taking it after a surgery for something else in the same, er, region of the abdomen...but I've taken other probiotics and none of them did squat. I thought I had become lactose intolerant (which makes little sense scientifically, but I didn't know what else to do) and cut out dairy for over a year, but I was still sick all the time. It was like I couldn't eat ANYTHING. Now I can eat the same exact ANYTHING, with very minor exceptions. Thank you to the makers of this product.That being said, I chose this product by researching what people with my particular symptoms had found relief with, and looked for a supplement that contained particular strains. This supplement matched my needs. Please, I beg you to look the same way...this very good product did not help a relative I gave a sample to, not because it's not a good product but because it didn't contain the strains she needed recolonized. Research before you buy, and even though it will probably cost easily $10 more to buy one bottle at your local store, it's necessary, because the wrong combination will not solve your problems. But if you lack the particular strains this provides, this is an EXCELLENT price for the product.

I want to thank American Health Products for Probiotic CD. Just before my neighbor told me to try probiotic I had been to the Dr. to try and figure out what was wrong with my stomach. I thought I had a hiatal hernia, every time I would bend over I would get so very nauseous I knew I was about to vomit. The Dr. found nothing wrong. My neighbor told me to try probiotic cd and it was miraculous. I could work in my flower garden again.I could scrub my bathtub again without feeling soooo sick. I cannot say THANK YOU enough!!!!!

I had used this product over a year ago based on the recommendation of the owner of a health food store. He said to use it again following a course of antibiotics, which is why I repurchased. This probiotic assists your system in producing/growing the cultures so you don't have to take it forever. It was recommended to start with a 120-day dose followed by a 60-day dose only after being on antibiotics. I am about half way through the 60 days and have noticed an improvement in my digestive health.

I formerly used InSync by Perrigo which the manufacturer discontinued. I then tried countless brands to find one I liked as well. None of the ones in capsules work, as the bacteria do not survive to make it to the intestines. Finding one with controlled release is very important. This one works for me, I love it. Stick with it, I had to get to my second bottle before I think my system totally adjusted, but now it works great.

I recommend these probiotic supplements to my patients who have been prescribed high dose/extended term antibiotics to alleviate GI discomfort and diarrhea. There are several other products available that are slightly more efficacious (in my opinion); however, they are substantially higher priced and/or have strong odors that many individuals cannot tolerate. This probiotic supplement is also great for many people who suffer from IBS or Crohn's Disease and is certainly a great place to start before moving to immunosuppressive alternatives. Overall, a very solid product that I hope continues to be available through Amazon.
