These are the same size as the paper cases I used to use for small cakes like fairy cakes. They fit perfectly in my muffin tins and take the same amount of cake mixture for fairy cakes and butterfly cakes. They are a lot smaller than I like to use for muffins, but mini-muffins will work. The cakes cook perfectly and release from these more easily than they do from paper cases and very cleanly. This lets me batch cook with only 12 cases. These will come in handy for my Christmas sugar-free cranberry tarts as well, as these tend to be fragile when cooked directly in the muffin tins. These will be in constant use here, and I do recommend them.

They work well - cupcakes bake OK in them and they peel off easily and are easy to wash.They are a bit fiddly to dry however.Having now used them a few times I'm getting a bit fed up with the washing and drying and since paper cup cake cases are so cheap I'm beginning to wonder whether these silicone ones are as good an idea as I originally thought they were.I know - I'm being lazy and not devoted enough to saving the planet, but I might just go back to the paper ones to save time.
