died
Ran for about 50 hours and the generator burned out. Engine still runs fine. It happened while starting up an air compressor. It worked several times that day, but the last time the air compressor struggled to start and eventually everything died. Seems like it should have tripped if I was overloading it.

Great genny, great price. Would buy again in a heartbeat
I purchased my all-power 3500w generator during a power outage in little rock that lasted 8 days. After my power car battery inverter died I went out in my jeep looking for a store with power. I was lucky to find a 1 square block about 30 minutes from my house that still had power. There was an o'reillys auto parts and a shell gas station on that one grid with power, luckily the o'reillys had this one generator left, on a pallet in the back of the store. About 5 people came in after me asking if they had any generators left for sale. I had just purchased an inverter From an auto zone about 30 mins in the other direction from my house and sold it to a guy who was looking for a generator, for what I paid for it. I ran this generator for 7 days straight, sun-up to sun-down. Changed the oil once in between, and checked it once daily while running, the book says to check every 20 hours. I've always ran rotella-t5 syn 10w-30 HD oil in it because the owners manual calls for a high detergent oil, and as far as oil goes that's one of the few remaining high detergent oils used primarily in Diesel engines. I had a gallon of 10w-30 T5 syn on hand at the time of purchase which I was running in an old international. After 1 day of running this generator on a heavy load(about half of the city had power back, but we were in the dark for about 6 more days), I checked the oil and found it to be quit full. It only holds .63 quarts. Ever since then (2011) I've pulled this thing out every 6 months to let it run for 30 minutes and it starts on the first pull. I've never ran anything but ethanol free gasoline in it and let it run dry buy closing the fuel shutoff valve. I am getting ready to pull it out now for its bi-annually run and felt compelled to write a solid review for it because it's been a great little genny for me. The only negative thing I can say is that when brand new, all the owners manual and accessories were tapped up on the underside of the frame above the muffler, this could turn into a fire hazard if someone wasn't looking for them. Other than that, this is a great genny and well worth the money, piece of mind to have. I hope others find this review helpful.

Really great generator
I was lucky enough to find mine, during a power outage in late June 2012, after a wind storm knocked out power to tens of thousands of homes in VA. I had been using a loaner from my stepfather, who works for a construction company. He loaned me a Generac, $3000 generator. I found this All Power at O'Reilly's Auto Parts, for about $450, which had the same wattage rating as the Generac. It worked perfectly, powered my refrigerator and everything else I needed; I also ran a drop cord to my neighbor's house to power his freezer (and who knows what else). It ran/worked perfectly, used no oil (I checked it at least every 6 hours, I'm crazy like that), ran relatively quietly (much quieter than the Generac), and started on the first pull every time. We had another power outage recently (another wind storm), and the story is the same: fired right up, ran perfectly, powered everything find (including my neighbor's stuff), with zero problems. Granted, I only have a week or so of running hours on the unit, but I feel secure that I have a good unit in the event of another outage. I would recommend this unit.
