An Iconic Addition to the Little People, Big Dreams Series!
This series just keeps getting better and better and Beyoncé’s installment is truly a work of art! It starts with her young life as a musician and her journey to forming Destiny’s Child and then through her many transformations as an artist, breaking all the barrier’s and molds in not o let R&B/Hip Hop/Rap, but the music industry as a whole. The artwork is so vibrant and joyful and I will happily be adding the finished copy to my home library.

Great biography for small children
Maria Isabel Sanchez Vegara has written four children’s books that will be released in early 2024: Lenny Henry, Tenzing Norgay, Sally Ride, and Beyonce. These books are part of the bestselling Little People, BIG DREAMS biography series for kids. Each book is 32 pages and beautifully illustrated. They are perfect for reading to small children during “quiet time”.Beyoncé Knowles was a quiet child but loved to sing and dance. After going to see a concert, she wanted to perform for others. She put on shows for customers in her mom's hair salon. After winning a local talent show, Beyoncé joined a new girl singing group, Girls Tyme. The band changed up members and names before becoming Destiny's Child, and they became stars due to their catchy songs and dance routines. Eventually Beyonce embarked on a solo career and has been nominated for more Grammy Awards than anyone else in history. She married musician Jay-Z and balances marriage, motherhood, and business.I received an Advance Review Copy (ARC) from NetGalley and Quarto Publishing Group – Frances Lincoln Children’s Books for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

A superstar of a series takes on a superstar of music
"Beyoncé (Little People, BIG DREAMS)" by Maria Isabel Sanchez Vegara with illustrations by Jade Orlando is a picture book biography of the superstar.Beyoncé grew up in Houston, Texas and was inspired to become a performer after her mother took her to her first concert. She won her first talent contest at 7 and never looked back. Her group Girls Tyme became Destiny’s Child and she went even further after that.I adore this series and this was a really great entry. The illustrations are bright and fun and feature lots of the color pink. It is an inspiring story.

Fun book for kids and others
My Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. Why did I decide to turn the pages? I love this series. Most of the books are very informative, and I love the diverse representation in the series. So when I was given the chance to review it, I took it.My Overall Thoughts/Impressions: I loved the illustrations in this one and the theme about reaching for your dreams and working for them. The illustrations of Beyonce singing were particularly well done. It can be tricky to write books about people who are still alive, but I thought this did a good job hitting on the most important parts of Beyonce's life. I think fans will enjoy this one.

Great Reads
Rating 4.5 starsIt's excellent reading for a kid, especially one who likes Beyonce's music and dance. It gives a mini background on Beyonce's love for music - singing and dancing. Little People, Big Dreams - Beyonce also has a good message for kids who admire her.My only issue with the book is that the illustrations could be of better quality. The image does not even compare to Beyonce.Read and reviewed on Netgalley.

Beyonce
Another addition to an excellent series of brief bios for kids, with good clear writing and illustrations and a timeline of their life. I am neither her nor there about Beyonce, so have no opinion about her, but the book, one in a series, continues it's job of reaching out to young audiences and giving them what they want.

I think children will absolutely enjoy this book and learn quite a bit about her life, especially before she became famous. This is part of a series of biographies, Little People, Big Dreams written by this author that are well researched and engaging. I look forward to new additions to the series.

An inspiring read for the little ones
The Little People BIG DREAMS series covers a lot of various famous/notable people who all achieved great things. This story of Beyonce's growth from childhood to where she is today serves to inspire the little ones and makes for a nice read, to hopefully get them thinking of their big dreams. It was quite a easy read for my 7 year old, and he enjoyed the illustrations and aim of the story.I'll be sure to get more from the collection as he had quite a lot of fun reading this one.

Inspirational book, about Beyoncé and life in general
The book is a hardcover and average size. The picture on the front is Beyoncé when she was a child, before rising up to become who she is now. Each page is illustrated that tells the story as well as the words.I never knew how she became who she is now, and the book explains her childhood, how she became interested in singing, her progression to even get noticed by record labels, all the way thru to current times. At the back is a little timeline of her story, with photos. This is well put together, and looking at the back of the book, there are many other interesting people to learn about, a very good series.
