The Asaro brand of products is excellent, including this flavoured oil. The tartufo fragrance and taste is perfect for all culinary needs. The Asaro and (Partanna) brand also includes olives, olive oil in many varieties. The Asaro products are delicious and true Italian, found in Italy and USA. The name is pronounced with the accent on the first syllable, Àsaro.

Great taste, good price. Switched from another very good brand who significantly raised their price. Will continue to enjoy this product.

For the price this is good olive oil. I bought the three liter and can arrived with minimal dents or damage. It is mixed oils from Tunisia, Greece, Italy, Spain and Portugal. It has a heavy flavor profile and peppery finish but is not extremely overpowering. I have had smoother Italian produced oils but for the ease of delivery and cost, I will keep buying this as my every day cooking and salad oil. Great on breads for dipping too. I have seen a lot of reviews that say it has a "cut grass" type of flavor, but if you are familiar with olive oil, this would be a medium/high pungency. Does not taste like cut grass..

I would highly recommend this oil for cooking ar normal use. Little price tho. I belive it should be a little cheaper.

De Cecco is a great brand. It is our go to for both pastas and oil. The one star review is because of the sellers (Amazon) packaging and customer service. The tin was just in a box with only crunched paper at one end to keep it from sliding. It showed up clearly damaged and leaking. We cleaned it up and let it sit out. Still leaking, so unfortunately it looks to be coming from the bottom of the tin. Tried to contact Amazon but just getting pushed back to perishables are no returnable. I get that, but that’s not an excuse to package things poorly then ignore people when they show up damaged. Super disappointing.

Luxury olive oil

I've tried all sorts of olive oils, some good and some not so good. I wanted something not only made in Italy but also that used olives grown and processed in Italy. This olive oil does that. Great taste. I use it on all salads, pasta, meats, fish with come lemon. Delicious. I've recommended it to friends who agree with me and are now using it.
