I must have lost the cable that came with my headphones and then one day realized that when I traveled and I wanted to use them on the plane that I would need a cable - so I want to the store and bought a cable and guess what they did not fit - the beats have a smaller plug than the standard 3.5 mm cables so i had to get this one made specifically for the beats - once I did that life was great - here is my review... This cable is actually an improvement over the one that came in the box. 1. Robust Build Quality The first thing you notice is the thickness. It feels much more durable than the stock Apple/Beats cable. Cons: This specific model is a straight audio cable (no inline mic), so keep that in mind if you need it for phone calls. Bought these for my beats when I don’t feel like charging them or don’t want to use the battery. Long cord. Works great and doesn’t affect the sound quality negatively at all. Great value!
