Good quality for the price.
I already owned a Leatherman Surge and liked how it was set up so when I saw this for a little over a quarter of the price, I thought it was worth a punt to live in my work bag. I've had it a couple of years now and whilst it doesn't get a lot of heavy use, I've been really impressed with it. the quality is much better than I expected and the knife blades hold a reasonable edge. I like how that in a squeeze you can use more comnventional bits in the bit holder (though they won't stay in place like the original ones do), which is something that it has over the Leatherman. So far I've not broken any of the tools and even the replaceable wire cutter teeth have held up well - though I've not tried them on hi-tensile fencing yet (and probably wouldn't choose to anyway). Quality wise, it looks and feels very similar to the Leatherman, but maybe just not quite - everything feels solidly put together though and the locking mechanism is very good. The scissors are really good for any multitool, especially so at this price. I think the only gripe I can think of is that the mechanism to swap the sawblade is a bit more fiddly than the leatherman, but for the price I can forgive it. I'd buy another without hesitation.

Excellent build quality and price
This is not a poorly-made knock-off of the other, more well-known multitool but a beautifully made knife in it's own right, made at an excellent price. It is literally a toolkit on your belt. Due to the appalling overreach of the legal system in the UK, you can't carry this "just in case" every day on your belt, unless you are actually conducting an activity where the tool may be required. Tradesmen and people who are at work will find this tool to be a superb and useful addition to your toolbox and everyone who has one finds innumerable uses for it. You will not be disappointed with this item. In view of the excellent value price, I would (and have) bought two. Makes a super present for a working person. The build quality is superb. The blades are very sharp but lock for safety.

Excellent quality and usefulness
Fantastic value and quality. The individual tools lock in position and feel very secure. A good selection of tools make this very useful to have around. The scissors don’t feel so good, hence the four stars and not five. I’ve bought two of these recently, one of which I gave to an electrician who had gone the extra mile to help us, and the other to our gardener who also had worked really hard for us recently.

Amazing Multi-tool
just buy it if you want a multitool, I've been looking for a new tool for some time as my one at work had seen better days and I needed a new one. This thing is amazing !! serious.. both knifes lock like everything else which was a must for me as I need the peace of mind its not going to close on my hand when using it, and are sharp out of the box, it's a bit hefty at first but I'm getting used to the size of it as the knife size is huge compared to my old one. wire snips are great, serrated blade glided through thick rope with ease and the scissors work really good. the pouch is good with a good solid button close and a good belt clasp. looking forward to putting it to good use as I've only just got it. looks like it will last long as the build quality is really good.

Impressive
Impressive tool. I have a Leatherman Wave and Surge and this is equally as good as either for a fraction of the cost. Time will tell how it stands up to the regular use but I'm impressed so far. Great solid quality,

Nice kit, does what you expect
At the discounted price, a very good choice. At full price I might look again at Leatherman. Generally well made and there are not too many "why do I need that" tools - and a notably good pair of scissors But a couple of minor details mean I can't give it 5 stars. One, the spring lock machanism for the 2 main blades is not as positive as it should be, so you have to pull the blade back a bit to achieve lock. Not sure if that's design or manufacture issue - the other two long tools (scissors and file) lock fine. Two, the removeable hex etc tools use a spring bearing to hold tham in place. Very much non-standard, so you can't really use any other 5mm insert bits. Three, the supplied torx tool for tioghening knuckles and changing cutter blade is of a much lower standard than the tool; my guess is it won't last 5 minutes when used.

Excelente copia mejorada

A bon entendeur !

Very Yukon approved
I’ve been using B/bury BI2045 for a month now and love it. It’s replacing a Leatherman Charge ti, but joins my early 1990’s Gerber multi-tool and my Leatherman Mut. The B/bury is about the same weight as the Mut and a little shorter, but with way more usable tools for camping. It’s definitely bigger and heavier when compared to the Charge and Gerber, but the B/bury has larger pliers and more tools. I love the versatility of the B/bury including the one easily swappable tool receiver which takes both B/bury custom tools (file, saw blades and scalpel (add on)) along with saw blades that can be bought from your local hardware store. The blades come seriously sharp from factory and only needed some stropping to get to razor sharp. The driver bit tool is strong but would have liked square (Robertson) bits to be included. As it takes regular hex bits you can work around that and Dewalt makes them with the ball lock like the tool uses. The sheath is quite solid with side pockets to carry a larger item on one side and a bit on the other. I customized this so I could carry a flashlight on one side and the saw blades on the other by cutting some stitches. What truly stands out about B/bury is their customer support. After using the multi tool for two weeks I thought it would be great to have another swappable tool receiver rather than the scissors. I looked at B/bury’s website I couldn’t find one for sale. I reached out to their customer support on Amazon and explained what I wanted to do. They wrote back within the hour and not only offered to send me the receiver, but two for no charge to experiment with! I was able to swap out the scissors (didn’t use them much) with the extra receiver for use with the saws or scalpel. I learned that the supplied saws are too big to fold into the storage position, not a huge deal as I believe I have shorter ones in my tool box. I also discovered that the receiver can only be used on a comparable side. Bang for buck, this tool can’t be beat!
