great floater frame for large canvas art!

The instructions included were not detailed, ambiguous and not helpful. The video was somewhat helpful but shows corners magically coming together, which they do not as shown in the pictures. Its disappointing because I ordered ahead of my project being finished, and now the return window has closed and we are left with a poor quality product that I don’t want to display on my wall.

The value is great! For large (60 x 36") canvases other frames would cost from $300 and up for DYI. I have purchased several of these and although they typically look very nice when on a wall. The downsides are that the corners don't always match perfectly as noted in several other reviews. And, the larger the frame, the more difficult it is to get the corners perfect and the canvas centered perfectly. To put the canvas in, center it, then have to flip it over while trying to hold it in place is before attaching is problematic. The videos are great, but they show a small piece that is much easier on both these fronts. I also think that if they provided some "spacer bars" to assist with the centering, it would be a nice add to the hardware.

Well made. Great final frame

This is a solid frame, and much more affordable than wood options. I was able to assemble it within just a few minutes and appreciated all the extra hardware pieces that were included because I was worried that some would be lost in shipping or dropped and lost while assembling. I also really appreciated the clear directions that came with it. I did have some difficulty with screwing my artwork in though, however that was at least partially my fault. The canvas I framed was only 3/4" deep so I wasn't able to lay the artwork face down to screw the frame to it as the frame was much deeper. Instead, I had hold everything upright and center it before sort of pinning everything in place with the screws. Once I had all the screws partially in, I put the whole assembly facedown and finished tightening the screws.

Frames are so expensive! I needed a large, 36 by 36 modern frame but was worried about putting this together. Happily, it went together easily and seems really sturdy. Makes my painting pop!
