Super simple to put on, however the material is on the thinner side. So if something heavy or sharp flys into your leg it will either hurt or potentially cut through the fabric.

My husband and teen daughter both got a pair of these Leg Gaiters Boot/Shoe Covers to use on their week long mountain hike this past summer.These worked well. They helped keep the bottom part of their pants (just below the knee) and the tops of their boots dry. These prevent water from getting down in your boots. There is a clip that secures them to your laces.Bonus use: These also helped reduce the scratches/scrapes when my daughter was wearing shorts. She stumbled quite a bit on the rocky terrain, but these Leg Gaiters help protect her from alot of scratches.These Leg Gaiters are lightweight and easy to pack.They do get quite dirty, especially the strap that goes around the top and bottom of your footwear. I washed them separately on a gentle cycle, but I used a pre-wash setting too. This got them fairly clean. I then hung them up to dry.They seem pretty durable because my husband and daughter did a 50 mile hike wearing these and they were still in one piece when they got back.

Draw string broke first time it was used.

The only thing that I didn't like was that the strap "clasp", for me, was on the wrong side, IMHO I would have liked the clasp to be on the same side as the zipper. I am as not as pliable as I used to be so it was a little bit harder for me to adjust them. The good news is that I used them for clearing 3/4 of an acre of brush and weeds and I didn't have any fox tails in my socks! Can't comment about wether or not they are waterproof.

Well made, nice water proof, I go through a pair once a year but considering the price and that they get used 8-10 a day 5-6 days a week they are more than worth the cost.

I use these to protect my legs when weed whacking and they work great for that!

I use these for weed eating in the yard. They do a great job. Can be a little difficult to unzip sometimes

Only used twice and the bottom strap is already torn off. I may be able to see the elastic strap but didn’t expect this to rip.
