Fitz and Floyd Gracie Ceramic Peacock Teapot, 1 Quart

I found this initially on the FF website, but found it on Amazon for a lot less, plus free shipping.This is a beautiful teapot, and it looks just as pretty in person as it does in the picture. I love the way the feathers cascade from the lid down onto the teapot itself, and I also like the fact that it's dishwasher and microwave safe.This teapot isn't just going to be for display, and I plan to use it quite a lot. I highly recommend it.

This teapot is stunning and makes a great centerpiece for tea time. It pours well without dripping and holds just the right amount for a small gathering.

This teapot is so beautiful and well made! It is very giftable. It arrived safely packaged with enough styrofoam to keep it from having any cracks or breaks. I do wish the packing box was most attractive so that it could be directly gifted in box but that's really not a big deal. The teapot is painted carefully and beautifully. The colors are beautiful and the bird/floral motif makes it perfect for spring use. I really love it.

I'm really impressed with this beautiful teapot. It was hard to judge the size before ordering based on the dimensions. Now that it's here, my opinion is that it's the right size for two people who want to drink 2 large mugs of tea or 4 standard size mugs. There is no strainer component to the teapot, so you'll need to pour it through a filter or mesh basket if you're brewing loose leaf tea. Of course, if you're using bags in the teapot, there will be no such need.It's beautifully and carefully hand-painted with a high level of skill and care. The way the feathers of the peacock cascade over the top is really impressive. The feathers are integrated in the bottom part of the pot as well through painting rather than sculpting.This is a very nice piece that would be a very special gift.

This looks exactly like the photos on the product description page in real life. I'm not blown away by the quality of the materials - they are quite standard and not particularly high-quality, with relatively light-weight ceramic, and the glaze does not stand up to higher-end ceramics. However, it has a very creative design that peacock fans will appreciate. I especially like that the peacock isn't just painted onto the teapot, but is actually part of the design and geometry of the piece.

I got this tea pot to use as decoration in my house. The tea pot is very brightly colored and seems well made.

My wife and I have collected unique decorative teapots for years and have well over 20 of them placed above the cabinets in our kitchen, no two alike. This has to be one of the nicest ones that I have come across in many years and totally different than any others I have seen or that we currently have. It is very nice ceramic, fits together nicely, and the paint job is impeccable and beautiful. I was actually somewhat surprised to see that this is considered microwave and dishwasher safe and intended for actual use, which many decorative teapots are not. That being said, our use for it will be strictly decorative and it is going to make a great addition to our collection. It is one of the nicest pieces I have seen in a long time and, especially compared to others we have bought over the years, the price is quite reasonable.
