This is a true Italian cooking book!!
This is a great recipe book. I am Italian and I cook regularly. When I checked few of my signature recipes, I was impressed by the fact that they added all my little tricks and touches! I keep buying this book to give it as a gift to my friends.

Awesome reference!
This is a very informative and easy to follow reference for cooking Italian foods. I love the explanations for cheese types, wines, espresso, herbs and etc. This really helps me to understand what products to buy and how to buy them. The information on reading the labels olive oil was eye opening. I have tried a couple of the recipes and they are yummy and simple. I am hooked on the Asparagus with Parmesan and egg! It sounded rather weird but I tried it and absolutely love it, especially when I am in a hurry and hungry. I am so glad I have this cook book as a resource.

learn a new skill
learning Italian cooking is a lot of fun. I only wish that instead of having a recipe for things like risotto and pizza, calzones, etc, he had a simple recipe with variants so if you want to cook it you could follow the recipe one week and try one of the variants again. the next week.
