I installed this on an iPhone 7+ that had been dropped and was shattered. I chose this screen based on other reviews. The kit is without a doubt one of the best kits I have used. The display build quality is top notch. The image quality is great. It's every bit as bright as the OEM screen. As well, the colors are on point. The off-center viewing is good, too, which is rare for less pricey replacement screens. Last, the touch screen is every bit as sensitive and functional as the original. Also worth noting, the tool kit included is by far the best tool kit I have ever received with a screen kit! I'll be keeping these tools for future jobs.My reason for giving this screen 99% instead of 100% is because it does not have the small plastic holders in place for the front facing camera and also for the brightness sensor. What's worse is the included instructions did not even mention needing to transfer these parts. Without them, the two modules could possibly slide around and end up not centered over their respective windows. I ended up having to heat up the original display to soften the glue retaining these two plastic sockets. I then needed to use a few small remnants that I cut off with scissors of the included double-sided tape to keep the sockets in place on the new display. The extra processes were not that hard but really should be finished at the factory as they are just little plastic parts and would not be costly to manufacture or install.In the end, I would definitely recommend this part.

This screen fits quite poorly with gaps and ridges all around the edge. I've installed over 50 iPhone screens and this one is just poor quality. The brightness is just not there either. If I slowly turn the brightness up, it stops getting any brighter after 50-60%. The color is also dull.I've kept this screen installed and have noticed more issues with it. The glass actually came UNGLUED from the LCD screen itself on the top 1/4 of the screen. In addition to that, I had my phone sitting on my lap in the car, went to put my seatbelt on and just barely grazed the screen with the buckle and it instantly shattered. This screen is easily the worst I've ever used. And again, I've installed over 50 screens for myself, friends and family. Garbage.

It installed quickly. It does sit up a little more than the original screen, but not a big deal. When installing you have to push a little hard at the bottom to screw in the external screws next to the charging port. Screen is a bit bluish in tone, but that’s not terrible. The only thing that doesn’t work is that my home button doesn’t read my finger print anymore and the light double tap to drop the screen down for single hand use doesn’t work. I’ve replaced my screen before with another company who’s screens are true to original but this was $50 cheaper and temporary until I get my new phone. It’s better than a cracked screen held together with Scotch Tape®️to prevent gashes on my fingers.

The product came as I expected(thanks to other customers’ reviews.) The only thing that I noticed out of the packaging was that one of the tiny little foam squares that is on the back of the connectors had fallen off due to poor gluing. I kept it off for the fact that I didn’t have superglue to fix it/didn’t want to risk ruining the connection using super glue. I’m not sure if that will be an issue yet, but I will let you know.The overall assembly process was really easy, thanks to the frame being preinstalled along with the camera, speaker, and proximity sensor. The only issues I had was getting the bad original screen to come off, but that was mainly due to how badly cracked it was. The process took me a while 40 minutes with only having a video going as I went along.So far everything works and I haven’t noticed any difference in touch sensitivity. Also the screen protector that came with it went on very nice! I didn’t even need a card to pop out any air bubble for there was none. The only thing I wish this product had was new glue to hold the sides in place. You get what you pay for though. Overall I’d rate it a 5!

If you are buying this simply to replace a cracked screen then it works well. If you want your phone to look exactly like when you bought it, you might need to get a different screen from an authorized apple repair shop. This fits perfect and the touch response is great, however when your in direct sunlight you can see the difference in lcd type. This has some reflective lines when in direct sunlight.

Customer service was great. First screen I ordered looked faded and colors washed out. Had for about week or so and was sent a new screen from company. The individual I emailed was really nice and sent new screen no questions asked. I placed new screen on and looked and worked great for about 4 days. After that the screen occasionally would not respond to touch or would start pressing wrong things, guess that's what is referred to as ghost touch. Few days later it got so bad I could not use my phone any longer. I then placed the original screen sent to me back on my phone. Day later that screen as well started to do same thing but on lesser scale. Still using that screen now but still looks faded and occasionally does not respond to touch or wrong app or letter is pressed. So guess I'll send the other screen back and just see what happens from there.

normally when replacing screens (on iPad 1 & 2 and iPhone 6) the screens were a few MM off on all four sides, I think because of Apple copy write protections. Their incentive of course is to get you to purchase a new device so they make it prohibitively expensive to get your screen repaired at an actual Genius Store. This fit was nearly perfect and believe me the iPhones are much easier than the iPads to replace screens. I would recommend this product.
