Mavala Scientifique K Plus Nail Hardener, 2 ml

I have always had soft nails, but after 6 months of gel nails, my nails where a real mess. I had to cut them down to the quick because they were so weak. So I bought this nail hardener. It’s a light blue liquid like water, you brush it onto the nail and let it dry, which only takes a few minutes. It doesn’t work overnight. It probably took a good 1 or 2 weeks to work, but my nails are amazingly strong now. I have never had nails that strong before. Just make sure you don’t get the product on the skin, because it hardens it as well. I 100% recommend this nail hardener. It’s only a small bottle, but it goes a long way.

I don't usually leave reviews but I am going to on this one because I struggled with weak nails for so long and was sceptical this would work, but I want anyone who is considering to try it! It really has worked for me and totally transformed my nails. I have always had VERY weak nails, the tips always bending to the slightest push, and never able to grow very far past the nail bed, because they break, flake, split, and grow weak so look inconsistent and never a nice shape let alone length. Have never, ever had medium or long nails, and never been happy with them. Usually constant breakages and weakness and always short and scrappy. I now have strong, long nails. What can I say? It's 100% changed them! They are truly strong - grown so much (I'd say they're medium length now, like a 3mm white tip if I were to guess by just eyeballing it after about 3 weeks) and because they're so sturdy and healthy (and even feel thick? Don't know if that makes sense) they have actually grown into a nicer shape, and when I push the tips like before, now they don't budge one bit. I have really never ever seen them like this and never thought I would! I don't know how it works, but it just does for me. I think it somehow actually improves the health of the nail, or at least the make up or basic structure of it, because it doesn't feel as though the product just sits on the surface. In fact, after you apply it and it dries (very quickly) you can't tell there's anything there. It's a very thin liquid that dries quickly and then it is just like a normal, plain, dry, un-coated nail - as if the nail has sort of absorbed the liquid. Don't know if it has, but that is what it feels like. I've been using this for about 3 weeks, every 3 or so days. I've not yet noticed the level in the bottle go down. It's a thin liquid, so even though the bottle is very small, it goes a long way. I am expecting this to last me at least half a year, possibly even more. I think that's good value. The results have improved incrementally over the 3 weeks, every time my nails feeling stronger. I can only expect they'll get even better as the weeks go by, and I plan to keep this up every few days (takes literally 2 mins total to apply and dry) so that as new nail grows, it starts off strong. If in doubt - give it a go! Really has transformed my nails. So happy!

I love this product it works so well. However the bottle turned up empty! I had to order a new one. I think it was damaged in transport. It’s a shame because it is rather expensive for a small bottle.

This stuff works! I have very soft nails and to get them to grow long enough to look nice I have to use Mavala. I have tried herbal supplements, extra vitamins etc with no success. The liquid soaks into my nails so I only need to use it once a week to maintain strength

J’avais connu ce durcisseur lorsque j’étais en école esthétique, ma prof d’esthétique nous avait dit que tout les vernis pour ongles (durcisseurs , et n’importe quel autre sensé embellir les ongles) c’était du marketing , en revanche elle nous avait conseillé celui ci , il imprègne réellement l’ongle , il s’incruste dans l’ongle , il faut penser à bien protéger ses cuticules (la peau au contour de l’ongle) avec une huile avant d’appliquer le durcisseur. Après application , garder les main verticales pendant 1 minutes puis vous verrez qu’il n’apparaît plus sur les ongles car il s’imprègne . Meilleur durcisseur. Par contre son prix est devenu exorbitant.
