Okay, this is advertised as hockey tape...players wrap the handle and the blades of their hockey sticks with this...but that's not how we're using it.We figured this would be tough enough (as it's used on hockey sticks) for what we wanted...a better grip and better visibility on our gardening tools....and we were right. Used on the handles of our clippers, shears and rakes/shovels, we get much better grip without having to grip them so tightly.The same clippers, with rubber or soft grips that turned in our hands when we used them, now operate without having to use a death grip on them and so are easier for us to use. Additionally, if you get one of the brighter colors (we got red) it is so much easier to find tools that drop in weeding/grassy areas.There's a lot of tape on a roll and we did a pair of clippers, larger lopping shears and a couple of rakes and a shovel so far and still have plenty for other tools.I don't know how long the tape will hold up, but we've tried it on a long day of cutting back some invasive vines and it worked great. We'll see, but right now am very happy with this tapes performance. It's easy to put on and forgiving if you make a mistake...just peal it back and redo...simple to use.
