Cheap and nasty
This item is not a good buy. It’s very poorly manufactured. It’s even a struggle to attach a pencil. Pay more and get a better product.

Doesn't accept standard pencil.. had to expand opening..
After doing a magiver on it it was fine... they should look that

Excellent quality. Very sturdy. Easy to adjust. Secure fitting
Excellent quality compass.The fitting is very straight forward and hold a standard pencil very securely.Unlike you standard Oxford stationary compass, once set and tightened with the wing it, this will not move and cause unwanted errors.Thai has made a very useful addition to my wood workshop. Coming in 2’s is great as I always have them both ready to use, and if I am marking multiple size holes I don’t have to keep readjusting one.

Good...
They seem like decent compass(es?) - I'm unsure of the plural for compass... Not just for wookworking though, they're perfect for marking circles when paper crafting too. I only have a few circle dies and punches and never seem to have the size I need so this is ideal to be able to cut any size circle I want. Very happy to recommend this set.
