Sizing is way off.
The look is great. The comfort is great. The quality is great. The sizing gets an F-. I wear a 6.5-7 depending on the shoe. Usually if something runs large I order a 6-6.5. Works every time....except this one. I ordered 6.5, it was so small, too small. I sent them back and order a 7.5. That's how off sized these are. Order a full size up from your original size (or what you usually wear in tennis shoes).

So cute...and so painful
These shoes are so cute. They are exactly the look that I wanted. The trouble is that the heel feels like it's made of razor blades and it cuts the back of my heel so badly that I could only wear them for 15 minutes the first time I wore them. After that it took about a week and a half for the back of my ankle to scab over and recover from the skin being torn off. I have worn them again today for the second time with doubled up XL band aids on my heel and I still get a cutting feeling. Not to mention the fact the the sides of my feet rub painfully on the inside also, however that is a much more bearable problem. I just love the way they look so much that I am willing to stick with them with the hopes that I will somehow break them in.

Ouch:(
Very narrow! Unless you have ultra slender feet I would skip these and get another brand of boat shoe. I've worn mine three or four times now, thinking I could eventually break them in, but each time I try I am limping and blistered not even two hours in. Not only are they narrow, there are A LOT of weird spots inside the shoe around where they tie that will rub your skin raw. Super uncomfortable. I've unfortunately passed the return window so I'm going to see if I can give them away to a friend with freakishly skinny feet.

Cute but not easy to fit for me.--Update
They were actually too big and too small for me...I wear between a 7.5 and an 8 with narrow feet. I first ordered a 7.5 it was tight in the toes and sharp on the back, then I ordered an 8: the toes are obviously made to be tight (b/c I still felt it though I have small toes) but the back was falling off. If I wear the 8s with socks they stayed on loosely but not comfortably, and I don't think boat shoes of this sort look particularly cute with socks showing. These shoes however are VERY cute and I have been searching for over a year now to replace my last white boat shoes from another brand (that no longer makes them) that lasted almost 3 years. This is the closest I've come to them so I am going to keep my 8's and try to work with them --get some heel guards and see if I can't get the material to soften up over time (they are made of a stiff canvas). If you are a sock wearer with a solid shoe size (not stuck in between like me)--you probably won't have a problem with these shoes. Update: I purchased some heel pads here on Amazon--made the shoes much more comfortable for me (and smaller enough to stay on while walking), Still a little pinch in the toes (which is weird with shoes that are too big) but not as bad--overall now pretty comfortable for new shoes, I expect them to only get better (comfort wise) with time. Still 3 stars for me: cute, but expensive and a lot of trouble to have to rebuild shoes to wear them.

even with the bad reviews. They are blister city though
The price was irresistible for these, even with the bad reviews. They are blister city though, at the heel and the toe box there are severe friction issues. This was easily remedied with "Heel Grips Liners" hot glued to the heel and then I cut a rectangular strip of cotton batting to hot glue to the top of the inside toe box of the shoe. With these easy minor adjustments I could see myself wearing these for hours with no issues, whereas prior to this fix I began blistering after walking around my house for less than a minute. They are very cute shoes and it's hard to find this particular look, so I was happy to make the adjustments for added comfort!

Shoes had been worn! Marked as New from Amazon Keds store.
I purchased these and they arrived today. No Keds shoebox, just sealed in a plastic bag (no branding) and I'm pretty sure they had been worn as there was a faded spot on the right heel where a scuff had been cleaned off. Black marks in the sides of the footbed. We're stretched out in the width too. Real bummer as they are very cute. I purchased these from the Keds store on Amazon. Won't do that again.

they're fairly comfortable. The insole provides a little cushion
The heel and area that crosses over the toes was quick to create blisters. With a few patches of mole skin and heel savers, they're fairly comfortable. The insole provides a little cushion, enough for the three days we spent running through airports all day. They're incredibly cute! They aren't terribly thin, so I'm not worried about accidentally sticking a toe through them.

Disappointed. Can't return it because I altered it
Tried on a 5 1/2 at store, just a little small. Ordered a 6 on line There are tabs under the shoelace part where the denim is folded over. They press on my foot so it seemed simple to cut them off. Still presses on my foot. Very uncomfortable. Will probably stretch if I put up with the pain. Disappointed. Can't return it because I altered it. Won't buy shoes online again.
