I couldn't be happier with my Maple Rugs purchase! The soft, durable polyester pile and latex backing provide a comfortable and stylish seasonal addition to our farmhouse. While the piping on one corner is a minor detail, it doesn't detract from the overall quality. I took the extra step of treating it with Fray Check to ensure it stays securely in place.Cleaning is a breeze. A quick spot clean with mild detergent and a blot from a clean cloth does the trick, and I use a hand vacuum for regular maintenance. With proper care, I anticipate this rug will be a beautiful part of our home for years to come. Thank You.

I'm a fan of Maples Rugs. US company, great colors and designs. I love that they are rubber backed. I dont need or want thick plush heavy carpeting everywhere. I actually prefer a thin rug, but that comes at the cost of needing a separate backer to keep them in place. I had stumbled upon a Maples Rug several years ago that was large enough to use as an area rug and had good rubber backing. I loved it, and I still have it, but recently I retired it as my mood for something else came up (now I use it outside). I didnt replace it with another Maples, if only because I didnt see the color/pattern I wanted. But I imagine at some point I will. Then there are other areas of the house where I have smaller Maples Rugs- in front of doors, etc. I have probably 6 rugs of assorted sizes from this brand. I just like it, a lot.Yes, they are thin, light, but that rubber backing is where it is at for me. If you need thick, plush, then seek elsewhere. I totally understand. These may not be for everyone because of the lightweight factor. On the plus side, no matter the size, they fold up or roll up easily for storage.When I decided to get a new little rug for my step dad, I immediately set out to look at Maples Rugs. He had a rubber backed rug that was falling apart and no longer had any grip on his ceramic floor. I bought this as a Christmas gift and he began using it immediately. I can toe it a little and it moves, so not sure if it is a matter of the rubber not being as grippy as my others, or it is simply the flooring that it is on. He has it in a cold spot of the house on a slick ceramic floor. Basically in a breezeway between kitchen and heading out to the garage. But it does slide around, and is way better than what he had.One note on vacuuming. I find that using the non beater bar option (like a floor option) is better than the carpet option. These are short knap, and the beater bar could eventually pull up on the fibers. Best to shake out the rugs and then vacuum floor, or just gently go over the rug itself. Can be washed in washer no problem.

Use it in my kitchen. It's super soft and durable and easy to clean. Looks fabulous too.

Very nice rug with good quality. The colors are bright and cheerful. It's somewhat soft, I mean it's a rug, but not scratchy. It lays nice and flat, stays put very well. It's right off my front door and gets all the traffic. It's held up perfectly and is easy to vacuum. It's stay clean and nice and I'm happy with it. I would buy it again.

Needed a new rug for our entryway, but honestly I did not want to spend a lot. Found this, great quality and price and it looks really nice in our front room.

I purchased this kitchen carpet to replace a thicker rug that ended up being a really huge trip hazard. This rug is thinner and as of yet, not a single person has rolled or tripped on it. It's really perfect. Washes up nicely in the washing machine. I hang it dry - but says it can be tumbled on low. Honestly I purchased 1 to just try it and then went back and bought a second for backup. With the rubber like backing - it stays put. Nice, thin profile - no tripping. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. These rugs are high quality, withstand wet and muck, are pet- proof, and look amazing. I put them in the washer and air dry. I usually get 3 years of 3 season use, they look great, and you can't beat the cost. Perfect for doorways.

The corners haven't curled up so I'm happy. Plus it's pretty:)
