This is much nicer than the tiny little squirt guns I grew up with. It's small enough the 3 year old can use it but it packs a big enough punch that the adults enjoy using it, too. Good distance and precision. Watching our adult son battle his kids was so much fun for everybody. I would definitely buy again.

Now, I am somewhat of a squirt gun aficionado from my younger days, going through several early 90s summers where I was legitimacy obsessed and bought every gun I could get my hands on. This is back when the guns became pump-action "pressurized" and toy makers were on a mission to out-soak each other.So truthfully, I didn't expect much for a $6 squirt gun not from the 90s, but these things actually have some good velocity! I did some measurements on our front sidewalk and I was consistently able to average around 22 feet of distance. I was also able to accurately shoot through some 3" fencing holes from about 6 feet away, indicating that they they have pretty reasonable accuracy. (For a squirt gun, anyhow.) Mostly, this gun is just fill and squirt — the action and fill cap are the only movable parts. That's probably a boon if you have younger or accident prone kids, or just the type who routinely demolish their toys.The other measure of a good squirter is what it doesn't do — mainly leak when it's not supposed to. I'm happy to report that I shook this thing very vigorously, and the only area from which I was able to expel any unintended water was the cap. That's great because the last place you want a gun leaking from is the nozzle or barrel. This way, you can be assured to soak your enemies rather than yourself. (Nothing more embarrassing in the heat of battle than a self-soak.)I also bequeathed one model to a friend's five year old and her eyes lit up when she saw the package, indicating that they certainly grab kids' attention. Her early reviews were that it was "fun". In this, though, I would rate this a 4.25 star product. The gun's primary drawback is that the action can be very stiff and I suspect that some kids around that age or younger may have a challenging time operating it. It should present much less of a problem for 7-8 year olds, however.Getting back to my early squirt-gunning days, I suspect that these models, had they been around, would have been among the most favored items during squirt wars. They combine aggressive looks with simple functionality and above-average range — just the attributes needed to keep your foes dripping with shame at their water-logged defeat. Ultimately, I would say that if you are on the hunt for a good utility squirter or something you can take to the beach without too much worry of being left behind, this is is solid choice.Honestly Disclaimer: I received this model pro bono and was asked to provide my unbiased review, which I certainly hope I have done.

Plenty of water without blasting and a decent stream good enough for any pool.

Hold water well; easy to use for a younger child; water gets sprayed pretty far so very pleased with ease of product for my little one for the money spent.

Purchased two water Gun’s for a birthday present and both stopped working after two charges. Almost $50 later I have non-working water guns. Unfortunately the time passed by three days to return my items. Save your money and not sure why there are so many positive ratings, I presume many different items under the same company name.

Worked great, but it is NOT waterproof. My grandson put it the lake. 😭 stop working. So do not put it in the water. Mine was good for 5 mins.
