Have not seen better for the price.
While writing this review, I am taking the price of this canteen in comparison to other stainless canteen and cup sets into consideration. That being said, this canteen is excellent value for money considering the competition. It has nice thick walls that should last a lifetime. I used this on a trip as soon as I got it. I had no leaks the entire trip. I placed both the bottle and the cup directly in the fire (removed the lid and chain) and they both boiled water well and were easy to clean. The opening on the bottle is a bit small which may make cleaning a hassle, but I only plan to put water in this canteen and a quick rinse should remove coffee or tea so I don't see it being a problem for me. The only stainless canteen and cup combo I know that has a wide mouth is the Pathfinder set, which is triple the price. My father has that set and it is a quality item however, this item is a better bargain in my opinion. The cup's handle seems sturdy and the little slot at the top lets you take the cup off the fire by sticking your knife in and placing the cup on the side to cool. Nice touch. The kit holder is fine, it holds the bottle and has two methods of attachment, what more do you want? All in all, this a great product for the price. Much more durable than an aluminum set and a third of the price of the benchmark Pathfinder set.

Excellent!
Perfect fit in the bottom of the WINOMO Molle Magazine Dump Pouch Holster Bag Adjustable for Outdoor Camping (Black) which I bought a few months ago, fits a small alcohol burner (Highlander) nicely at one end and plenty of tea/coffee/sugar (and a lighter) in the rest of it. I was also pleasantly surprised to find that the lid clips down firmly over the outer rim of the pot too. The handles 'lock' against each other to provide a stable way of moving it when full - nothing worse than seeing the grass enjoying your long-awaited coffee :(Add a cheap 'n' cheerful plastic mug from any good outdoors shop (and quite a few disreputable ones!) and you have a handy go-anywhere brew kit.Cheers!Update Sept '18: still going strong and working just fine!

Good weight and decent quality canteen
Good weight and decent quality canteen. Love the cup I've put it directly unto my my gas stove (smallest burner) and it makes great cafe mocha. The cup is warm to the lips once removed from the fire but cools down quickly enough to drink in no time at all. The handle remains relatively cool. The stopper fits snug with no leakages. My only bug bear with this is the inside lip that folds over into the mouth of the canteen. Its sharp, although unlikely to cause an injury under normal drinking conditions (don't put your tongue inside). This lip is about 3 mm deep and traps a small amount of water when you empty the canteen. This can be easily wiped away using a finger with kitchen paper or a handkerchief. Its not a deal breaker especially when you consider what you get for 20 quid. Should last a good long while.

Love it. Great seal on the bottle lid
Love it. Great seal on the bottle lid. Good size. Boiled water on a open flame in it fine too as well as in the mug. Very strong. Yes the lip is rolled in but if you just have water in it it's fine and easy to clean. Still gets 5 stars as the next comment is just a personal preference. It would have been nice to have had a wider opening to the bottle. To put ice in it for example ( or to pile in snow in an emergency for water). Comes in a INice case too.

... bottle and still has space to carry other items like tea, coffee or soup sachets etc
I got the larger bottle set and the cover is quite thick and does reasonable job insulating the bottle and still has space to carry other items like tea, coffee or soup sachets etc. if tucked in around the sides of the bottle. In an ideal world the cup would also have a lid for faster boiling and the bottle would have a wider mouth for easier cleaning. All slides together nicely and is close enough fit that it doesn't rattle when you're walking with it on your belt, the two spring steel clips make attaching the pouch quick and easy much better than plain loops as you don't need to take your belt off to remove the pouch, plenty of room to attach via molle straps too if hanging from webbing or bags.

Overpriced , but ok
All sound. Fairly lightweight construction, and I think a little overpriced for what it is. It'll teach me not to have left my larger and more robust aluminium one (£6) on a lockside.Clever handle design, but again a little flimsy. Beware the sharp inner lip of the flask as has been mentioned by another reviewer.Finding all metal flasks and cup, whether aluminium or stainless is proofing difficult it seems, hence this purchase. Spend some time on your search. This is ok, just a pricey for what it is?Interestingly a lot of other reviews don't think so...……...

Well worth the money
Well worth the money. I have tried lots of different bottles in the past but to be honest I never thought of trying one like this. I remember this style from when I was a kid (a long time ago) I took this out with me walking in the peak district and was very pleased. It is a bit weighty but I can't say it caused me a problem. The only thing I found a bit fiddly was trying the fasten the jacket up after putting it back in. It kept my water cold all day and no leaks!!

Good but failed after a year or so.
This product is fantastic! Worked well for a year or so but just recently I come back from a camp and there is a tiny hole where the stop is for the mug. Whether this was from corrosion or not I do not know. The pouch was a disappointment too. I was hoping to attach it externally to my bag but could not as they are not perfectly sized for molle webbing. The bottle is very good though and easy to drink from. The size is excellent and the mug is good too. Perfect for a huge cup of tea. The seal of the lid hasn’t failed at all just the hole. Will be buying another but not sure if it will be from this make or another one which has a better pouch. Overall I think this product is excellent for bush crafters just make sure to take care and clean throughout.
