Not SPT-2 as shown.
Picture shows SPT-2, part number in description, when researched at manufacture website, is SPT-2. I received SPT-1. Now I have to send it back and try and find what I actually need, which is 18/2 SPT-2. The SPT-1 will not work with the "vampire" type plugs I use for making custom length extension cords for projects. Also was not packaged with a label as pictured. Just had plastic wrap type material wrapped around it.

Ordered thinking this was SPT-1 cord - Nearly impossible to use in internal routing in lamps.....
Pretty standard fare as lamp cord goes. The insulation is thick, in fact, too thick. Turns out this is SPT-2 type cord which has thicker insulation than SPT-1 type cord.I make my own lamps using off the shelf hardware and this cord is so tight, it scrapes some of the insulation off when pulling it through the fittings. I also use some standard fiberglass sleeving in certain applications and getting the cord through the sleeving that is inside the tube is nearly impossible.While I can certainly use this cord in areas where I don't have to thread through those fittings, it means I am going to have to buy another roll of SPT-1 cord so I don't waste time and potentially strip away the insulation when I have to thread it through the tubing. My fault for not looking closer in the description but it should have been in the product title as it is in all the other bulk lamp cord listings.

Great LED lamp wire.
Quality product. used as a an LED light strand with vintage edison bulbs (led). The only downside is that it was often difficult to determine which wire was hot and neutral.

Good Quality Cord
This is a good quality cord with ULC certification. I used it to run between every tree and bush in the yard to connect many strings of LED Xmas lights. I bought vampire plugs to attach to this cord at every tree.
