Lid Material | The 'external_website_0' source, under 'bullet_point', mentions 'Round Hot Pot, Roti Dabba with Lid'. Given that 'Roti Dabba' typically refers to a container for roti (Indian bread), it is reasonable to infer that the lid is made of the same material as the container itself, which is 'Solid Wood' according to the 'attributes' section. Therefore, the material of the lid is likely to be solid wood. |

Pretty bowl; kept food warm
I thought this little bowl was so pretty, I simply had to request one as a nice way to present meals to guests. It mentions being ideal for keeping roti warm. Though we don’t eat roti that often at home, we are almost constantly consuming tortillas. We don’t have a warmer so I decided to see if this would help to keep them warm.As it turns out, the bowl is on the small side for the soft taco-size tortillas we tend to buy, so unless we fold them up it may not be the most useful to us for that purpose. The bowl’s opening is 7 inches wide while our usual tortillas are 8. The inside of the bowl is about 2.5 inches deep.I did find that it was the perfect size for the pita bread we keep on hand. I decided to see how well it could keep one of those warm. After microwaving it for 30 seconds I left it in the bowl, and checked it periodically as I prepared the rest of my lunch that day. After 10 minutes the pita bread was still nice and warm.Since I wanted to rule out any possibility of other factors, I had placed the pita in there without anything else. For the future I will definitely make sure to line it with a cloth or a paper towel, since the steam from the warmed pita predictably left a lot of moisture inside the bowl and on the lid.I’m excited to make use of this bowl as a warmer. Though the pitas we had in the fridge ended up being my first thought, I’m sure it will come in handy for other small food items as well. It should also be a good width to keep a few pancakes warm—it would be too shallow to hold a full batch’s worth, but would be ideal for keeping a few warm at a time while the pancakes are being cooked. The design looks lovely in person. I’m guessing it was placed on the bowl by wrapping something around it since there is a visible seam on one side. The wood looks beautiful inside the bowl, with some reddish tones throughout that I always like to see. The wooden knob in the lid seems to have a small indent in it. I get the impression it came from a natural flaw in the wood, though I’m not an expert in this kind of thing. It’s attached to the lid with a screw that can be seen on the inside of the lid, which is another reason I plan to line the bowl when we use it. Hopefully the screw is made of a material that won’t be prone to rusting, but I’d rather treat it as though it is to be on the safe side. The bottom of the bowl has three clear “feet” which help to keep it from slipping around. They are very well attached and so far have not shown signs of losing their adhesion after washing.Though it turned out to be a little small for our tortillas, this will be useful to us for a variety of other uses. I love that it’s stylish while also performing a very useful function in being able to keep things warm. I’d definitely recommend others to give it a try for themselves.

Beautiful wood
I'm really impressed with the beauty and quality of this roti bowl. The color of the wood is gorgeous and the lid fits in perfectly to keep things warm until you're ready to use them. Whether you're using to serve naan or tortillas, rice or other food, this will definitely make a great impression on your table. I wouldn't worry about a wood bowl scratching a table, but I like that there are three little rubber feet on it anyway, so the heat also doesn't cause a mark. It's large enough that you could still sit it on a small trivet as well, if you're still worried about the heat reaching your table surface. The handle is large enough to grab easily to lift the lid. For the price of $39 (at time of review), I feel this is a quality piece.
