Combat Max 2in1 Ant Bait Station, Indoor & Outdoor Use, 4 Count

I dealt with little teeny sugar ants for so long. The baits I had used for other types of ants just weren't working and these things were driving me nuts. They climbed into the water tank of my Keurig - mus thave been a hundred in there - so gross! After doing a little discussing with ChatGPT, I found out that the fact that the ants were attracted to liquid means the wafer baits were not what they needed (or weren't in the 'protein + fat' cycle of their liffe). The challenge was is that I had ordered the Terra (or maybe Terro) liquid baits before and they were an absolute MESS. When one spilled out and basically solidified, no amount of goo gone or hot water could remove it. So, Chatty (what I call ChatGPT) recommend these. Well, I'll be damned. I put it out and saw the ants going straight for it. The next day - NEXT DAY - no more ants. I worry aobut Combat's business model because these things are so effective that I just moved the same bait alla round to the different spots in the hosue and probably won't need to buy more for a very long time. Pro-tip: - Put the bait right near their trail but don't interrupt the trail - resist the urge to kill the ants while you're waiting for the bait to do its magic - they need to bring the stuff back to the queen and colony.

This is the only ant bait I trust. It's the only one I've actually been able to get rid of an infestation of black kitchen ants with. It works quickly, too. This is the newer version, which has the dual bait, but I find the sugary side is the more effective one (which used to be available in a single bait). They're pretty safe to have around pets, but be careful that you place them where they won't be tipped forward, because the sugar bait is fluid and can come out, and don't place them where a pet might play with them.

I get black ants in my house this time of year every year. Never really get rid of them. When I put these combat max down I saw ants. But since I have not seen one.

When I first opened it and put it out, I did notice a lack of ants for a week or two, but it seems like it loses effectiveness overtime. The ants do seem to be attracted to whatever they put in it though.

This product is amazing! I bought it in March and have no idea why I waited until September to use it! I had so many other brands of baits I previously purchased. They all were useless. The ants literally crawled around the baits. I assumed this would be the same. I've been dealing with an infestation of little black ants for nearly a year. I wake up to them crawling everywhere, including on me! I put out these baits, and immediately they were attracted to it. I was able to figure out where they are coming from (an electrical outlet from the exterior wall). They ate this stuff up like crazy, and told their friends all about it! Thank you, Combat Max, for providing a product that actually does what it says it would.

I’ve used Combat products before and usually have pretty good luck with them, but the 2 in 1 was just okay for me. It did seem to help and I noticed less bug activity, but it didn’t completely get rid of the problem like I was hoping. I still had to use other products along with it. Not terrible and I would say it does something, I just expected it to work a lot better on its own.

Tried other ant killer, but they kept coming back. Once we cracked open a couple of these bait traps, we've had 2 or 3 years of ant free summers around our dining room and kitchen! These work so well!! Rarely have I even seen a single ant milling about in our house since we started using these! Hopefully they don't ever stop producing them! Also, nice to know our doggo leaves them alone!

It did the job and I only had to use 2 traps out of the box. I had one trap in the kitchen and another in the bathroom. It took about 2 weeks for all the ants to disappear but it started working and I started finding dead ants after 24 hours. I had tiny odorous house ants and they only used the sweet side up. They did not touch the other side. The only reason I am taking away a star is because they are extremely hard to open. It has a tab that supposed to snap off easy and even but it does not. One of them I actually spilled some of the sweet gel out of when the tab came off because of the pressure I had to use to get it off. Also one did not cleanly break and I had to get needle nose pliers to pick the part out of the opening so the ants could use the opening. If they could make a better design for opening them I would rate them 5 stars.
