Works Great
Great. Works for sugar ants, and carpenter ants which is our issue. Pet safe. Convenient to use. Our go to for ants

Solid Bait, Worth the Price.
Solid stuff, definitely makes ants keel over. Not too large, pretty simple at what you need to do with it. Just break the tab, and place it wherever the ants are tending to be around. I noticed it heavily reduced the amount of various colonies invading on housing space to say the least, and it near eliminated them completely in our garage. The only problem I have with it is that it has the potential to splatter its gel on your hands if you have it tipped downwards when opening it, or of course, if you are being really rough with it. Just clean your hands off with WARM soapy water.

No more ants!
I am always on the alert for a bait to kill ants. I have tried powders which is very messy and chalk which has been discontinued. I placed this in the path of tiny red ants and left the room and when I returned, massive ants asleep in and around the area. Came back an hour later and some are gone, hopefully they went back to feed the queen. I am so happy with this Combat Max 2in 1 Ant Bait. It is doing what says it will “kills fast”. Thank you Combat and Amazon!!!

Can work with small modification
I placed the trap near the trail of ants near my kitchen sink. For the first day the ants largely walked right past the trap but by the second and third days I saw a few ants entering the trap. But after a week, the number of ants had not diminished. I then broke open the trap and revoved the poison pellet and placed it on the same spot as the trap had been. I live alone so there was no danger of misuse. Right away the ants swarmed around the bait and the size of the pellet decreased. It took another 4 days but now the ants have disappeared.

If you ever find an ant trail in your kitchen…GET THESE!
I’ve been battling ants for a couple weeks. Tuesday morning my kitchen counters were COVERED in ants… as if they were thumbing their antennas at all my previous attempts. I had combat bait traps ordered but they weren’t due to arrive until the next day. I let my boss know I dashed to Home Depot and picked up AMDRO bait stations and Terra granules.I sprinkled the granules around my perimeter outside and a few on my floor in the kitchen, tho’ the trail wasn’t on the floor. I think it was coming from behind the stove.Alexa confirmed what I suspected . She said NOT to kill/clean up the ants on the counters. The goal was to get as many of them as possible to take the bait to the nest.So I got rid of the main attraction… the cupcakes I made on Sunday. They were in a container that was closed… but regrettably didn’t have an airtight seal. I threw the whole container away and took it to the dumpster. Then placed the AMDRO baits on alll three of my counters. Then I just… left. When I got home, a quarter of the ants were gone with a few dead ones lying about. I went out to dinner…. All week .Combat baits arrived Wednesday.I placed them that night. By that next morning most the ants were gone and the Combat bait was WAY more popular than the other. And this morning…ALL the ants were gone. Still a few dead ones on the counter… and one lost ant wandering around. If there’s a next time, I’ll start with the Combat Bait straps!

One day!
I dealt with little teeny sugar ants for so long. The baits I had used for other types of ants just weren't working and these things were driving me nuts. They climbed into the water tank of my Keurig - mus thave been a hundred in there - so gross! After doing a little discussing with ChatGPT, I found out that the fact that the ants were attracted to liquid means the wafer baits were not what they needed (or weren't in the 'protein + fat' cycle of their liffe). The challenge was is that I had ordered the Terra (or maybe Terro) liquid baits before and they were an absolute MESS. When one spilled out and basically solidified, no amount of goo gone or hot water could remove it. So, Chatty (what I call ChatGPT) recommend these.Well, I'll be damned. I put it out and saw the ants going straight for it. The next day - NEXT DAY - no more ants. I worry aobut Combat's business model because these things are so effective that I just moved the same bait alla round to the different spots in the hosue and probably won't need to buy more for a very long time.Pro-tip:- Put the bait right near their trail but don't interrupt the trail- resist the urge to kill the ants while you're waiting for the bait to do its magic - they need to bring the stuff back to the queen and colony.

I got these while dealing with ants coming in on both sides of my townhouse. On the front entry side, this worked well. I haven’t seen ants crawling around that side of the house in a few weeks. On the kitchen side, which gets invaded every year (and this year has been the worst yet), they were definitely going after the bait, but all I got was a pile of dead ants on the floor directly below the spot on the counter where I had it, and the invasion has continued unabated.

Worked great for sugar ants.
I purchased this to see if it could get rid of some pesky sugar ants that invade my bathroom periodically when we get heavy rains for a weeks or so. I usually use sugar and boric acid dissolved in warm water which works but usually takes upward of two weeks. I've tried Terro baits which work for a short period to attract ants but then they sidestep the baits and never seem to kill the entire colony. After placing several of these along the ant trails, they attracted lots of ants within the first two days. After that, the ants would come and gather in small groups along the trails and just sit there. After about a week and a 1/2, I disturbed the groups and they moved but not in their usual way. I ended up squishing them and wiping the trials. After that, I saw a few ants walking but it dwindled down to none. All in all about 2 weeks. They haven't returned. I would say this product worked great.Pros:1. Works well.2. The container is easy to handle without getting poison on your hands.Cons:1. You have to break a tab off to expose the poison to the ants. If you don't press it just right, it won't break cleanly.2. The gel inside dries up in about two weeks (which was OK since the ants were almost dead by then) but if you need to have it longer you may have issues.3. You can't find it in stores so you have to order online.I would purchase gain.
