These lids DO NOT clean well. I'm a bit frustrated with whatever material is sealing the inside circular edges. Food particles stick to it and you won't be able to use these lids repeatedly (which was the whole purpose of buying this).

These are just want I need! We use mason jars for everything in our house- cups, left overs, storage, etc. These are perfect and seal better than the white plastic kind. It is nice not to have separate ring and discs to deal with. Note- I have not used these for actual sealing, just as basic lids.When we pour left over coffee into jars and pop it into the fridge for iced coffee later. The next morning we add creamer and shake. They do NOT leak! wonderful.

I bought a set of these and the larger size because my mother and I had a ton of unused mason jars from previous jam making, but weren't planning to make anything new anytime soon. We did need some dry goods storage in the kitchen, namely tea, and decided to put some use to the old jars. The lids work great for the tea, a little less for things that can get stale, but that's to be expected. I haven't bothered using any wet ingredients so I can't testify leaks in the liquid format, but they fit on the jars great and look cute.

I have used this style of lid before, many years ago. I like them for jam and condiments because all of the product may not be used when the jar is opened. Much easier to re-close than the 2 piece lids. They were available for a couple years back in the 70s and then disappeared. With regular lids in such short supply I decided to give these a try.SO far so good. I must admit I had some doubts. The description text was not well written and it was hard to be sure they were intended for canning. I used 7 of them yesterday and they all sealed but they do take longer to complete the seal and I did not notice the usual POP when the jar seals. When I checked them this morning the tester bubble on the top was the same as the 2 piece lids. I am not sure I would use them for pressure canning or even tomatoes because there's not much you can do with jars that son't seal. With jam and condiments you can refrigerate them. I will update the review if they don't stay sealed.

I use mason-type jars to store spices and herbs in (I get the 8 oz. short size) as I am really trying to get away from storing foodstuffs in plastic (plus, glass looks so much nicer! :) ). The mason jars come with the 2-piece lid/ring combo, and I find those to be a pain. These lids fit perfectly and look so nice. I have not stored anything liquid with these lids, so I can't speak to that quality, but for dry goods, I highly recommend.

Exactly what I was looking for and a product like no other offered.1-piece, and offered in perfect colors. White, red, black, and unfinished. White is all me.Also, the amount included in the purchase is a great value. No more lid that eventually corrodes and causes black (and probably toxic) residue around the rim of the glass from the old metal lids. Of course, this is moot if you are not using this for liquid or food.Not giving it 5-stars simply because if you don't absolutely twist the lid on in a particular manner, it will leak liquid. These do not have the same vacuum seal that come with the standard 2-piece lids these jars come.

They're much easier to deal with than the standard ring and seal lid. They seal tightly and make the jars more useful for holding things like salad dressing that do not need to be water bath canned. Also good for storing things like little nails and thumbtacks. They clean up nicely and of course can be reused.

These are working out really well for me. I use mason jars to store/transport fresh breast milk. I was tired of hand washing the 2 part lids. No leaks and they have been through the dishwasher twice so far just fine.

Works great - leakproof, my kids (5&7) can open them, they go in the dishwasher. No rust at 1-month mark. Cheaper than the leakproof plastic reusable lids. Would recommend. We use them with mason jars every day in lunches to hold smoothies, yogurt and applesauce.Update- after 3 months of daily use and dishwashing some of them are starting to rust. I still recommend them but I can see I will have to replace them soon.

The lids are being used for a lot mason jars we kept from sauces and we reused for soups, sauces and so on.They are leak proof and very easy to clean.Great product we will order it again soon.

Unfortunately do not fit the bastard sized jars that I presently have. I am keeping for future use.

I love the colour and the easy opening, instead of the snap on two piece lids. After my preserves have been opened, I switch and put these lids on. 😁
