The camera quality is very good with clear 2K video both day and night. The pan and tilt functions work smoothly and the motion detection is accurate. Easy to set up with the Tapo app and the WiFi connection has been stable. Great value for the features included.

Used at the back of our garden in the corner to see behind a mancave & shed & back alone the garden wall & fence, our 1yr old cats are exploring & we know they like to venture out of sight, the camera also shows when other cats have come in the garden by the wall at the back. I made a wooden top cover for it to reduce any water getting into it & keep it in good condition as it’s at a difficult place to get to, hence needing this much valued camera, we’ve several TAPO cameras around our house & in the mancave to watch my 3D printer & another to watch my mobility scooter & smoke alarm to warn us if they hear a baby crying noise or cats screaming 🙀 TAPO are very reliable & easy to set & use, highly recommended for everywhere in the house at a great price for their performance at recording everything that moves!

Bought this to expand my Tapo-integrated smart home setup and, like the other Tapo products I’ve used, the installation process was quick and straightforward. While this is obviously a consumer-grade product rather than a professional CCTV system, the overall build quality, ease of setup, and smart home integration capabilities are genuinely impressive for the price point. Everything connected smoothly within the ecosystem, and the automation options make it a really convenient addition to my setup. Because of the strong integration features, simple setup process, and solid overall quality, I’d happily give this product 4.5/5 stars.

Overall great value as the image quality is great, Wi-Fi also works well and the price point solid. I was looking for something good that would not need extensive wiring through the house and this fit the bill. I had to buy a 220v to 12v transformer to feed the camera which I put in a weatherproof box. I reused the wiring for an outside light that served no purpose. It would be much easier to install if it worked on 220v. Setup with the app is easy and straightforward, the camera connects well to wifi and is consistent. Not having to pay a subscription is a top bonus. Image quality is great and following movement is also great. Night vision is also very decent. However, the AI detection is rubbish and plants and rain are all consistently detected as people or camera being blocked. It’s not a

Ordered these for home security, only fitted one camera which was installed by an electrician friend. Connecting it to my phone and WiFi took a bit of a learning curve but managed to set it up ok. Day and night picture quality is very clear and it records everything really well. The only issues I have are sensitivity as despite using the settings to lower movement sensitivity and specify area, the camera picks up on tiny things like leaf and moth movement! It cannot seem to differentiate between a fox and a person so the notifications can be a nightmare if there is a windy day or lots of wildlife traffic in the garden. It would also be handy if the camera had a wider angle and if the view could be adjusted on the app. The camera microphone is very sensitive so picks up sound well, but somewhat noisy when it rains due to being close to a gutter! The second camera will be installed soon so looking forward to seeing a wider view of the property. Otherwise very happy with the camera and the Tapo app which allows other products in their range to be connected via WiFi and set up to suit the locations. I also have their doorbell and internal camera so can view and save footage on a card or to the cloud.

Brilliant camera, easy set up and connection. You can fine tune your setup in the app so i do not get false alarms, picture is very clear during the day and also at night which i had not found with other brands, it is a fantastic system. You can buy an sd card to fit it if you want to be subscription free, although the subscription is great value for the money. You will not be disappointed in this camera, you will feel more secure.

Great camera, HD quality & good coverage, quite sturdy, works so well with the Tapo app whilst allowing various features to be turned on & off, or auto-mode. If fitting to a wall, or even a fascia or other, you will need to drill approx' a 8mm hole for the power lead connector. However, if you're going to connect the fixed Ethernet lead with connector as recommended for signal strength & reliability, (instead of using the WiFi option) you'll to drill a bigger hole (approx' 12mm+) to get the connector through. Although not essential, you might ideally have some connect it up for you, with the ability to feed some thin ethernet cable through the hole/s - to then crimp the thicker connector plug onto the correct coloured ethernet wiring. You can however use the WiFi option only if you're not too far away from your WiFi hub, which is still a great option. Check YouTube videos or possibly the Tapo site for advice & How-To videos. I also use Tapo smart plugs for my room heaters etc. Amazing quality. Californian company too. Good luck. 😊🙏

Absolutely brilliant camera, it detects people or pets and tracks them, great for wildlife spotting. Deserves 10 stars, took less than a minute to get connected to our wifi and menus are very intuitive. Video quality is superb and is easy to transfer clips to phone gallery and share.

Eğer Tapo ürünlerini kullanıyorsanız, Tapo uygulamasını da bilirsiniz; tüm ürünleri bu yazılım ile çok kolay bir şekilde kurulum yapabiliyorsunuz. Kamerayı tanıtmam en fazla 1 dakikamı aldı. Apartman merdiven boşluğunda (daire kapısında) kullanmak üzere aldığımı hatırlatarak, öncelikle görüntü kalitesinden başlayayım; Görüntü mükemmel değil fakat gayet yeterli; her şeyi rahatlıkla görebiliyorsunuz, görüntü neredeyse tam net ve akıcı. Yani yüzler anlaşılıyor fakat zoom yapınca elbette biraz fazla bozulmaya başlıyor. Daire kapısı için bence çok doğru bir karar. Gece görüşü gri-beyaz oluyor ve bu da yeterli. Kamera üzerinde aktif olduğuna dair LED var ve bunu isteğe göre açıp kapatabiliyorsunuz. Caydırıcı olması açısından açık kalmalı ve ideal bir özellik. Hareket algılaması gayet başarılı, hareketten en fazla 3-5 saniye sonra cep telefonuna bildirim geliyor ve harekete özel kaydedilmiş videoyu izleyebiliyorsunuz. Dış mekanda da; 3-5 metrelik bir uzaklık düşünülecekse bu cihaz yine yeterli ama daha geniş ve uzak mesafeli kayıt düşünülüyorsa, çok daha yüksek çözünürlüklü kameralara yönelmenizi tavsiye edebilirim.
