upon first glance I absolutely fell in love with this bag. my only confusion was the fact that pictures showed me silver hardware (zippers, logo emblem etc) but the description said it’s gold hardware. I was so torn between this bigger version & the mini version because the mini version shows such clear silver hardware in the pictures. I have plenty of small bags already, I needed a bigger bag so I proceeded to scour the internet for any more information I could find. EVERY website listed this bag as having gold hardware, only ONE overseas reseller site listed the MINI version of this as having silver hardware. all of the pictures looked silver! there was only one other review here with pictures and it still looked silver. I had no way of truly knowing unless I got the bag myself, so I put my concerns aside and made the purchase. finally seeing it in front of me I realize the confusion - the bag has the faintest slightest tinge of gold hardware. looking at it in different lighting it neither looks gold or silver, it’s a ridiculously pale rose gold color. I’m so disappointed honestly, I don’t mind a mixed metal moment but this has such an odd color it doesn’t match any of my jewelry or accessories (of which I have both gold & silver). I’ve been looking for a bag with this kind of structure and look for so long, I thought I found the perfect one. I’m really torn on returning it and part of me wants to try the mini version, but why fork over more money on a bag with weird light pee colored hardware? my only hope is that the hardware will fade to a silver color, but the time it takes for that doesn’t seem worth it. for anybody looking at this bag I hope this aids in your decision making! don’t make the same mistake I did.
