Perfect replacement

This battery arrived nicely packaged in a static proof bag inside a sturdy cardboard box with foam inserts. The box also contains a generic laptop battery user manual.I checked the voltage with a multimeter on arrival and it showed 15.27V. As these batteries contain 4 x 18650 Li-Ion cells this means each cell was charged to 3.8V which is perfect for storage and transport.It was easy to put into my old HP laptop but it is a slightly loose fit.I fully charged the battery and ran it flat a few times to condition it and I’m getting around 3½ hours of normal use from it (the original gave me about 4 hours when new).I haven’t had this battery long enough to comment on its long term performance but I’ll update this review if there’s anything to report.Given the cost of genuine HP batteries this is very reasonably priced at £23.99 but because it doesn’t last quite as long and the slightly loose fit I’m knocking off a star.

Good quality battery, it's brought my old laptop back to lice and I no longer fear the dreaded unplugged power cord.Installation was super easy and I can say it's last as long as my original battery before it started failing.Good price, good product
