Great little amp - 1w powerhouse!
I’m really pleased with this little amp. Prior to purchasing I did a fair amount of research and watched numerous reviews on youtube before pulling the trigger. I’ve got it connected to a Marshall 1x12 cab and both channels sound great. I only play at home (mostly rock and metal) so I didn’t need a big amp. Being able to switch the output down from 1w to 0.1w (which is still plenty loud enough for home use) is ideal as it means you can crank the volume to get the valves cooking without upsetting the neighbours/wife/dog etc. Really happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend to others

Great little amp - beware 16Ohm speaker output
This is a great sounding little amp. It’s a 2 channel amp with all The features you would need in a bigger more expensive head less one. The speaker cab output is 16Ohm only. I am running it into a mesa 1x12 which is 8 Ohm so do have a mismatch but it still sounds great and hasn’t gone bang yet so I’m good for now.For the price you really can’t fault it. It’s got that great Marshall tone and plenty of gain plus a very useable clean channel. It responds well to being overdriven has an effects loop, headphone / audio out and it obviously looks cool. Not much more to say really, I’m a happy camper and you will be too if you get one. Just remember that impedance specification.

Marshall 1 Watt head Amp Rocks (quietly)
Used a JCM900 stack live, back in the 90s, whilst in thrash metal band. Now I’m old, wrinkly & retired I required a ‘lounge’ amp. Have tried most ‘bedroom practice’ amps but apart from Boss, with their 0.5W setting, they’re all too loud. The Marshall with its 0.1W is ideal, plus it’s 100% valve! Mind you, it can go surprisingly loud on the 1 Watt setting if required. My experience with Marshalls told me, it was gonna be fine with rock/metal etc, never played one clean lol!, so was a bit nervous about that area, needn’t have worried, capable of very sweet & delicate sounds. Great value for money for this class act. Free Saturday next day delivery via Merchant City Music up in Glasgow. Always great service from those guys, bought from them before via Amazon.

Get one now!
I have had various digital modelling amps, I always wanted that Marshall sound but never really found it. I could not afford or justify the cost of a Marshall, then I saw this DSL 1HR. I have it paired with a celestion G10 greenback. I stripped the insides out of my line 6 spider that had stopped working and used this as a cab for the speaker. Absolutely fantastic I have the sound and tone I want ( it's loud if you want it to be) for £212 ( free delivery ) from from river music. I can't recommend this amp enough. I have the biggest grin ever see.

Marshall tones at low volume
I was really surprised by how close it sounds to its big brother (DSL100). The power reduction button is really good as 1 watt is still fairly loud! I have been using it as well directly into a two notes cabM (with a Carl's load box). This is a potent pairing for quiet playing. It does Paul Kossoff all the way to Metallica and most things in between.
