This product works surprisingly well. The level of detail the plaster cast preserves is impressive. Every line of your skin will show up in the final product. I would recommend making sure you take the time to really try and get the air bubbles out though. If not done thoroughly enough you will end up with little plaster balls all over your hand cast from where the bubbles were when the silicon mold set. The final cast is still really cool, little bubbles and all.

This hand casting kit has everything you need to create a memorable mold. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow. There was minimal mess because of everything the kit comes with and we had so much fun creating our mold

This was a bit hard to use, and the bucket was a bit too small to accommodate two hands and two wrists without touching the sides of the bucket. I honestly had zero faith it was going to turn out based off how rough the mold looked when we were able to remove both our hands but we trusted the process and carried on with the casting material. Amazingly two hands did come out, and they look pretty cool but the wrist area needs some sanding as it did not mold correctly. All in all its pretty cool, and should we try it again we would probably choose a different hand position which made it easier to hold the position without touching the sides, and to remove our hands

I felt this kit would be romantic and would give us the perfect opportunity to complete a project together. I can honestly say it is! This kit comes with everything you need to complete the project. There are easy to follow instructions. It is the perfect keepsake for a couple, grandparents, parents, anyone. I’d definitely recommend it.
