This was my first try of light weight PLA and am very pleased with how well prints with this turn out.Layer lines are virtually invisible, prints are strong with no layer delamination and prints are very light.It has more of a foam like feel and texture so would not be any use for projects requiring high strength but is ideal for model aircraft.I used it to print a EDF RC jet for a friend and it turned out great.There was some stringing on the internal structure but this was probably due to my settings not being fine tuned rather than a deficiency in the product.As mentioned this is the only Light weight PLA I have used, but becuase I had no problems and had good prints I have no reason to change to another make.I will buy more of this when I need it, but after printing an entire model with this spool I still have over half left for other projects.So yes it is more expensive than normal PLA but it is half the weight and goes twice as far. It's ideal for model aircraft and other projects requiring a light weight.

My first time using LW-PLA. Very successful prints.

I admit I was a bit biased. Well, it's half cheaper than colorFabb and you have 1000 g on the spool, not 750 g.I tried first by printing a pair of cubes to set the magic fraction, i.e. temperature / flow.This is necessary if you are starting out with Low Weight filament.The cube should have 1 wall and a thickness of 0.5-0.55 mm.I use Kossel Delta printer, speed 55 mm/s, cooling max 20% and table 50 C. I also use 3DLAC spray on the glass table and it's better than enough.With these parameters, I print perfect models. Well, but I have a heavily modified printer, with a Dual Drive extruder (bowden).However, after two weeks of printing, I can say that I am satisfied.I don't see a significant difference to colorFabb apart from the creamy white color which forces me to paint some "white" parts. In the last photo you have a comparison of my fresh "Eagle" model.The body of the model has a few parts made of white PLA+.But I took one star because I have to paint.Apparently, the manufacturer is pushing the price down so much that he doesn't have to add any dyes. Something for something.The other properties are OK. And don't complain until you do the temperature / velocity / flow tests first.And finally, one note - you will not avoid flossing. This material swells and expands, so retraction is ineffective. But this can be easily removed later.

The media could not be loaded.  Tested on F.F.Guider2sFlashprint5 settings: 260°c/60°c, extrusion rate 60% f.l.extr.rate 70%Good sides:Great adhesion, no need to use brim.and less support required.Super light weight, flexible.Usung 40%less material, or even more (with my settings) than normal pla. Got nice silky smooth matt finish.Very easy to paint. Epoxy based paint gives extra strength.Bad sides:Mechanical impact resistance much lower than normal pla. I had to put some 2component epoxy on the weaker places."Airborne" material...

I have used many makes but find esun PLA and LW PKA works well with my CR10

Works well, retraction is pointless, at 0.2mm layer height and 245c hotend temperature I found a 0.4mm wall turned out 1.065mm, and at 40% flow / extrusion rate the wall thickness was correctly 0.400mm

Great for printing RC planes, produces very nice surface for painting, using 70% flow rate you get about 35% reduction in weight. Set Travel speed to as high as your printer will manage to reduce stringing.Cheaper than Colorfab

Zum drucken von Flugmodellen top! Sehr leicht aber robust. Leicht zu drucken, bei richtigen Einstellungen. Mir gelang bereits der erste Druck. Sehr gute Haftung.Ich kann dieses Material nur empfehlen.

Filamento in pla leggero per costruzione di aereomodelli.Mi ci sto trovando bene, non facilissimo da stampare ma con un pó di pazienza si riesce bene

referez vous bien aux debits T° conseilles par esun ou deboires assures... j'ai du mettre un peu plus de debit que conseille (5%) pour avoir un resultat impeccable.
